Thank you so much! I am trying to make it entertaining. My husband thinks they do not carry off as entertainment, but maybe we just have differing opinions, lol

Help! Ive been watching your vides for some time now and have learned so much. You are more accurate than any of the other sites out there. I have a question to which I have been unable to find the answer. I have a couple of rhinestone brooches that have rhinestones and other elements of the brooch looks like it has rhinestones too but on close examination, the depressions are empty and just created to look like there is a stone in the depression. What is that technique called? I've searched and searched. Of course, I don't have the terminology to find the one word or phrase I need. Hope you can post a video explaining that technique.

lol, Oh how I know the torture! However, it is so so very hard to explain things in words and not with a picture. Please email me a picture of the piece so that I can see it. I feel like I know what you are talking about but without knowing the material, age, style, and so on it is really hard for me to even pinpoint it. It may be chasing, but I do not think that is what you are talking about, there is also doming pieces, and the process of that is called dapping, but again I don't think that is what you are looking for. PS Thank you so much for the wonderful comment! I really do appreciate it!
