I had a dog put down after it bit me while I was riding my bike, I wouldn't have but this particular dog had also attempted to attack babies in strollers and just people walking, it was only a matter of time before it seriously hurt or killed a child. We went to the owners multiple times about it and even gave them chains to put the dog on but the dog magically broke every one of them. It sucked but I don't regret it, they moved a few months ago and left their other dog here, it was later taken to the pound and I'm sure also put to sleep.

I remember a dog like this growing up, I cured him of this habit by putting on a steel toed boot, putting my 750 triumph in 2nd rode towards him and when he started his run gunned it with my foot sticking out, when it connected with fido it spun him around and when he recovered he made a dash for his yard. We had no trouble with him after that.
I had a dog chase me every time I road by. So road in such a way as to draw him in to my foot just as I almost hit the back of a parked car. That dog hit the car at full speed

I had a dog put down after it bit me while I was riding my bike, I wouldn't have but this particular dog had also attempted to attack babies in strollers and just people walking, it was only a matter of time before it seriously hurt or killed a child. We went to the owners multiple times about it and even gave them chains to put the dog on but the dog magically broke every one of them. It sucked but I don't regret it, they moved a few months ago and left their other dog here, it was later taken to the pound and I'm sure also put to sleep.

I remember a dog like this growing up, I cured him of this habit by putting on a steel toed boot, putting my 750 triumph in 2nd rode towards him and when he started his run gunned it with my foot sticking out, when it connected with fido it spun him around and when he recovered he made a dash for his yard. We had no trouble with him after that.

My dog would try to pull my sis and neices off of the riding mower. She was female and it was her way of trying to protect them from she perceived as dangerous. She would break through the screen door if we kept her inside. Simple fix: I mowed the yard, and she would calmly watch me. It's too easy to see a behavior and think "bad dog" nowadays.
And yes I'm aware she was making a dangerous situation worse, but she didn't understand that.
