Thank you for your tutorial! Yours went a little more detailed on certain aspects I wanted to know than most others. Such as, how to remove the excess design from the edges of the shell more cleanly. The addition of your sweet co-host, Jagger, was chef’s kiss! Hope you and Jagger are well!❤
I loved this tutorial! I just purchased several of these decorated shells from my hair stylist. This will be an awesome project to do with my grandchildren. Will hunt the beach for the perfect shell. Thank you for sharing these
OMG! I have torn so many napkins! Now I’ve learned to use plastic for the napkin placement. Thank you! Please pet your sweet cat for me! He’s adorable!
Your tutorial is excellent. Thank you very much. I peeled the two layers off my napkin. I’m wondering why you find this step necessary or better? Also your cat is precious. Thanks again!
The reason why I pull that second layer off is because when I didn’t, many times when I was going to smooth it out, the top layer buckled and the bottom layer stayed! I guess it doesn’t always happen and believe me I know how difficult it is to smooth it out with such a thin piece of material but I just find that it’s better to get all the bottom layers off. And what’s equally as important is definitely using saran wrap or a plastic bag of some sort when you’re smoothing it.

The part about painting the shell is ‘blink-and-you-miss-it’ I watched twice to catch this detail. The project is simple and end result lovely.

The clam shells lend themselves to this effect so well. Very attractive to look at. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you! I will continue to peel the layers. Your tip about using saran wrap is very helpful 😻
What type of gold paint did you use please? These are gorgeous!
@@Pocketsnuggies hi! I use metallic acrylic gold paint. Available in any craft store. Thank you so much for watching.
Cute!
My kitty or the shells? 😄
What metallic gold acrylic paint do you recommed?
@@albertogomezmartinezdelece7057 I use FolkArt multi surface metallic acrylic paint
How about the back of the shell? I would paint that gold.
Yes! I usually leave it natural but I have painted it gold as well. Definitely looks pretty.
Still a handsome boy!

Why can’t we use matte modge podge?
You absolutely can. It’s really a personal preference. I personally like the shine that it leaves.
Use a paint brush with water to take out the picture not with scissors
