Diving MASSIVE Japanese Shipwrecks in Coron Philippines

- Coron Palawan Philippines is becoming legendary. World class island hopping and beautiful blue water is reason enough to visit. It's already paradise for adventure travel, but the Scuba diving in Coron is a hidden secret. Not many know that it is home to some of the best wreck diving in the world.
Just north of Palawan Island, and about 30 meters below the surface in Coron Bay is a fleet of Japanese warships, sunk by American bombers in 1944 as they were fleeing the Philippines. These ships are massive. Some are over 150 meters long, and almost completely intact.
In this Philippines travel vlog, I team up with Exploring with Cody, and we tag team this incredible location. This was one of my favourite adventures in the Philippines. Let's go back!

Wow, man! Can we talk about how sick that intro was? Your storytelling is phenomenal, Mike. Your drone shots are so stunning and it looks like you, Cody, and June had a blast out there! Your underwater videos have always been some of my favorites and this one is no exception. The wrecks are so beautiful. Watching you guys slowly swim among them is so cool. It seems like it must be very serene, but also kind of eerie, down there with them. As someone who has always loved learning about history, especially the Pacific-related events of WWII, I would be in heaven exploring those wrecks. The Okinawa Maru in particular looks like something out of a Jules Verne novel or something. Amazing! And you were right, as incredible as the other two were, the Akitsushima was the clear highlight of this video. My mind is officially blown! Unreal, man. Your footage down there is breathtaking on a whole new level. This is why I tell everyone I know about your videos. Because you explore awesome, beautiful, largely unknown, and long-forgotten places like this and share them with the rest of us. Thank you, man!!

Such amazing dives! Went in Summer 2019 and did Olympia Maru, Morazan, Kogyo, Sub Chaser and Lusong Gunboat. Planning to return in 2020 for more!

wow that intro really emphasize that this wreck had happen during world war 2, that is really amazing you share this video. i never had diving in my travel to Coron but i am a good swimmer . i only had snorkeling with my friends in El Nido and Coron and that was amazing.
