Wow Cody is in Mexico and the Philippines at the same time. Only in UA-cam land. Ha ha. Loved this Mike. Your videos are always soooo wonderful. #FearlessAndFar
Oh, I saw Cody on IG in Mexico at this time that this is uploaded. Why the little saying at the beginning of my comment. Maybe he is looking for you Mike. 🤔 Love both of you! I love when you two Collab!
Your channel is my favorite one!!! There's not a single video I didn't liked. Your work is amazing, the editing, the quality and most importantly your personality. My favorite youtuber 😘😘
Wow, man! Can we talk about how sick that intro was? Your storytelling is phenomenal, Mike. Your drone shots are so stunning and it looks like you, Cody, and June had a blast out there! Your underwater videos have always been some of my favorites and this one is no exception. The wrecks are so beautiful. Watching you guys slowly swim among them is so cool. It seems like it must be very serene, but also kind of eerie, down there with them. As someone who has always loved learning about history, especially the Pacific-related events of WWII, I would be in heaven exploring those wrecks. The Okinawa Maru in particular looks like something out of a Jules Verne novel or something. Amazing! And you were right, as incredible as the other two were, the Akitsushima was the clear highlight of this video. My mind is officially blown! Unreal, man. Your footage down there is breathtaking on a whole new level. This is why I tell everyone I know about your videos. Because you explore awesome, beautiful, largely unknown, and long-forgotten places like this and share them with the rest of us. Thank you, man!!
@Brandon Moore Oh man, 🙄 can you make your comment a little bit shorter next time. 😅 Hahaha 😁 I'm just kidding man. I think I'm gonna learn some deep English words from you. 🤔
Amazing dives. I wanna do this so bad. I'll be going to Port Barton in July next year!!!! I can't wait!!!! Your the man Mike. Your my idol!!!! Keep up your amazing content and making the world open a new window in their minds.
i heard u will be having an adventure with kulas early next year.. i hope u do diving with kulas too.. that would be cool , amazing but kinda scary going under water 😅😅
This is really insane😱 and breathtaking, like jumping in the vast of darkness seems like any monsterous creature gonna pull you down anytime. As I watched all your videos, you really grown so much mike not just an ordinary traveller, but really an outdoor enthuasiast who has a big heart for nature and culture. Keep the good work mike😍
dunno if I could ever do deep diving into a shipwreck! Watching this just gives me severe anxiety! Thanks for making this vid, great content as always Mike! 👌🏻
Awesome dude! 👏🏻 Great shots as always. I’d love to do this someday. Have never dove before. Is getting certified difficult? And it looked like you tried out a different style of color grade or LUT on this one - or am I just imagining things? Either way, fantastic work! Experiences Over Possessions! -Jim
Hey man! Getting certified for your first level (Open Water) is easy. Just a few days, and I feel everyone can do it if they can manage stress well. Advanced Open water, the second level, is very important for experiences like this. You learn how to dive in more complicated conditions. Diving is just stress management, and is very very safe in general. In over 500 dives I have never seen a serious dive accident.
Definitely cool! I regret not pushing through with my advanced diving course. I should pick it up again sometime. @fearlessandfar Mike, to round up your Philippine diving adventure, here are two other absolute must dive destinations for you: Verde Island Passage and Tubbataha Reefs National Park. The former can be accessed via Anilao in Batangas or Puerto Galera in Mindoro. It is called the "Amazon of the Seas" and is the "Center of the Center of Marine Shorefish Biodiversity and the Center of the Center of the Marine Biodiversity of the World". The latter is accessed via Puerto Princesa in Palawan and is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List and can only be visited at certain times of the year via liveaboard or going with the Philippine Coast Guard (with special permission). Two of my personal dream dive destinations, but I would have to get my advanced diving certification first! 🤙🇵🇭🐉
Advanced is totally worth the investment. Everything after that is cool, but doesn't open up anything different for you dive-wise. I have a map of all the places I want to go. I've just added Verde Island and Tubbataha to this list! Thanks Marilyn! 🐉
@@fearlessandfar you are very welcome, Mike! Hope you get to dive and film in Verde Island next year when you come back to the 🇵🇭. Timing would be perfect plus, logistically speaking, it is easier to go to than Tubbataha.
Hi Mike I hit like before watching I knew it would be awesome. It is really more fun in the Philippines there's so much to vlog about.I enjoyed this video and I learned about these sunken ships which I didnt know maybe I was asleep in my history class.Mike is this your last video of the phil for this year?Mike I have a suggestion to you while Kulas is busy exploring every towns cities and provinces in the phil and Finn Snow is busy exploring beaches and islands which is numerous I sugggest that you explore our beautiful places in the mountains aside Sagada ,theres Mountain province,Bontoc,Benguet,Apayao, Abra and Ifugao check out Ifugaos rice harvest ritual see Erwan Heusssaf vlog about it in cooperation with the Dept.of Tourism one of a kind.If you want to feature beautiful nature, ethnic people.authentic food, tradition, culture fantastic view this is the place to be I hope you would consider this on your next trip here in the phil.
I have one more video left in the Philippines that I'll be posting this week-end. But don't worry, I'm already planning my trip back for next year! I love the mountain provinces, and had such a great time in Cordillera. I'll definitely focus on those when I'm back!
Finally you upload this vid that i been waiting for so many weeks now,i thought you are with Kulas in this vid and your vid is always good as expected.
3 years after I'm watching this. Russian sunkin ship brought me here. That intro reminded us of what exactly happened in our home islands. My parents in their early 90's just gone bye bye but yes this was their time. They didn't say much they just go on with their lives. We're an island in between Palawan and Leyte the battle of Leyte were pretty much documented. The battle in Palawan I haven't seen a documentary. May the souls of those who fought hard to save our asses from becoming Japanese rest in peace and to the Japanese people may this remind you and all of us that War is not the answer to expand your greed and territory. I feel like we were Ukraine 🇺🇦 only difference is we have a savior the Almighty USA 🇺🇸. Our deepest gratitude to Gen. Douglas McArthur and his Men including the Philippine AFP. Thanks for your video. Very clear and awesome.
wow that intro really emphasize that this wreck had happen during world war 2, that is really amazing you share this video. i never had diving in my travel to Coron but i am a good swimmer . i only had snorkeling with my friends in El Nido and Coron and that was amazing.
The greatest Naval battle in history was the battle of Leyte Gulf in WW2 between the United States and Japan. So the Philippines has lots of sunken warships.
I' really want to ride on top of a jeepney but my father never allowed me😣😣 I envy u. ... and i thought your picking up a gold bar😂😂😂 awesome ! I love this underwater adventure. Have fun and Take care Lodi 😉

Happy trails Mike. ✌hoping to be able to do some dives n3xt year when I come home for a visit. Fingers crossed.
