Its not hard, there are thousands of Toyota landcrusiers from the 70s and old jeeps. Not very many 40s jeesp but there are 50s, 60s and up. There selling me this commando for $2000 with the motor and four speed trans but it needs a lot of body work. Does any one think its worth it?
$25,000 into a restoration is not much. I would not use that as a selling point. Most people spend as much as $50,000 to $100,000 on a quality restoration. A good paint job is $ 10- 20,000.
