Thank you for the PR for my lovely island home 🇧🇲. Your video definitely made me want to do a staycation 😎 at the St. Regis, I almost did not recognize my island...WOW!! 😯
Hope you all had a great time and will return to see us again. If you wish to see the "culture" of Bermuda in full force come back during our Bermuda Day holiday which falls on the last Fri in May to coincide with the US Memorial day holiday or our Emancipation Day/Cup Match holiday. A two day cricket game - Somerset vs St.George's in a party atmosphere. This is usually the last Thurs and Fri in July. You will have to google to get the correct dates because sometimes it falls at the beginning of Aug. Hopefully Bermuda will be back in full swing this year for these two MAJOR holidays.

St. Regis is way too expensive, and it looks unfinished. Yeah, i get to ride past that eyesore everyday. Bermuda is a nice place to visit, but not to live. Why do you think that so many Bermudians are leaving this island?
@@carlawilkinson4843 Carla we all have "choices" and that's the blessed thing. Flourish where you choose to live at this time because "challenges" will come in whatever place one chooses to reside. Definitely Bermuda is one of the MOST EXPENSIVE places to live but by the grace of God we have survived and thrived through countless storms most recently this worldwide pandemic. Grateful for Bermuda although all is not well in our island home at this time.

So happy that you visited Bermuda! You're going to have to come back though because you missed out on sooo much. You didn't get to the Western side of the country...west of the City of Hamilton, which would have brought you to what is locally referred to as "God's country" 😉. I highly recommend your taking an Island-wide taxi tour on your next visit on your first full day and renting your own "car" after that experience. That way you'll get a beautiful overall perspective and be better equipped to explore further on your own. I used to work for the Bermuda Department of Tourism. 😁 I really hope that you're able to re-visit soon. Feel free to let me know if you do. 👍🏽

Bermuda is lovely. It reminds me of the Bahamas. I guess that's why I don't really think about other islands as a vacation spot, because I'm Caribbean. All just look the same to me. Lol.
I'm missing home, the St. Regis overlooks the beach were I regularly kayaked. That fish sandwich is made from a local fish called Turbot. 😋 Can't beat it.

Bermuda is the best place ever ! Just watching your videos bring back such wonderful memories😊 ! I took my mom there in July 2017. My mom passed in 2020 so Bermuda is a special that hold wonderful memories. I was there prior in 2 other times. So happy you shared the video I know you and your husband had an amazing time while there for his birthday celebration! FYI : It is costly island for those who don't know!
