These 2 adorable friends were separated by a cruel local authority claiming the owners needed a permit for the bird. How disgraceful. Finally common sense surfaced and these 2 best friends will be re united soon.
I just heard recently that the powers that be had removed this bird because they thought the people had something wrong. How ridiculous! The bird is happy, living in the area it hatched, living with a family that loves it and cares for it. What more could you ask for? Come on get real don’t you have something better to do? Animals that really need help?

A baby maggie, we named Chook, 25 years ago kept watch over me while I went into labour while my hubby went back to sleep through the night, typical. Chook never barked but was a beautiful choraler. He rejoined wild magpies when he was ready to fly off. Have since rescued a few young ones from heat waves. They are one of Australia's favourite birds and I always vote them number 1 in Australia's Bird of The Year, Wildlife Australia competition every two years! 2017 the magpie was voted no 1. Plant more trees for all our birds!

OMG SHE BARKS 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Brings me so much joy. Life is so hard right now and to see this is just so special. I really hope the owners get the certifications required so that they can take the magpie back. If it ends up being a financial issue make it known. I will gladly donate towards reuniting these two.

Love 'em both. Have lived in Europe for decades and had many long- term friendships with wild urban crows, really interesting beings. Now back in NZ and have a great magpie pair who never forget me. Lots of similarities with crows but also different in many ways. Never get bored with them!
@@banjar10997 NZ has the same magpies as Australia? I had no idea!(probably should google that too, huh?) Yes, I like all crows, ravens and magpies, wherever they call home. Incredibly intelligent, but they can also be ruthless killers too. Saw a family of maggies tear apart a pigeon that strayed a little close to what must've been their nesting site. They don't mess around.
Yes a magpie, native bird of Australia, when they have their eggs in a tree and someone walks by they know how to swoop, they love doing that to cyclists.

Hi Guys. I'm sorry to hear that Molly got confiscated. Hope Molly gets returned to your garden soon. Something similar happened to Sweetie-Pie, our Magpie chick when we took her to the Vet after hand-rearing her for a while. We tried, but just didn't qualify for a Permit. She has been released by a wildlife carer into the wild since then and we wish her all the best. Molly was already free outdoors, so should not have been caught and put into captivity again.
So cute this is how nature works you can see the love and it beautiful the dog produces milk to help her this story is amazing ❤❤❤❤❤❤ I come b ack and watch this 💖 ♥️ ❤️ 💗 💕 💛 so inspiring thank you this is everyone needs to w😅this 💖 💗 💕 ❤️ ♥️ 💓

They made a mistake posting these videos. The Australian Wildlife Law came and took the bird, despite it being free to come and go. Now there's a big uproar to have it returned.
I look forward to seeing Molly and Peggy on fb every day, their funny, lovely antics are so amusing and never fail to make my day. Then i hear Molly has been taken away from his family 😢 I have tried to sign the petition for Mollys return to his family. I hope and pray the authorities do the right thing and send him home where he belongs 🙏 😢❤
