I've been wearing my Xero Hanas to work (FedEx) for about 2 1/2 to 3 months now. My feet hurt in the beginning since I'm walking on concrete floors and handling ICs most of the day. Thankfully they have gotten stronger and I don't have pain anymore. Unless I drop a box on my foot. :)
I have 8 pairs of these and exactly where you pointed to them rubbing is exactly where every single pair I have owned has got a hole after a few months. I LOVE them but I´m done with them. Too costly to keep buying only for them to all have the same issue.
I’d b so happy to be able to do 35+ an hr. I’m lucky if I get 15-18 an hr. Great video and I’m jealous of ur route sir!
Tis a good route for sure
Thank you I was wondering about this. I’m a delivery driver as wrll
I tried these back when they were at their height like a decade ago, and found that, like a lot of shoes, they just weren't designed for my foot shape. In order to get a pair that would fit the front of my feet I had to go up to a size where there was maybe an inch of extra shoe at the back of my foot behind my heel.
Ya, that’s a hard thing for these toe shoe brands to account for. My brother is having a hard time with some of them. I’m lucky I guess 😂 my foot shape fits them relatively well 🤷🏻♂️
It's a perpetual problem with me, I try a lot of shoes and they will be both too tight in the toes and very loose in the heel.
@@kauko15 you should start an Only Fans. Sounds like you have some very special footsies
Man I had 3 of those big boxes with the green straps around them yesterday. Sliced my finger pretty good
Ooof. Sometimes I think I should wear gloves….. but then I don’t 😬🤣
@@Deliverypros I feel the same. Especially when it's warm out I feel weird with gloves on lol
This was a good video review of your 5 finger shoes man. I am looking into getting me this pair. I have so many pair of them going all the way back to when the KSO & the Classics first came out. I do wear my 5 finger shoes to work to as well as flip-flops 🩴. I don't own a pair of shoes or socks at all. I am 95% of the time barefooted 👣 but when I do have to wear something it's Either 5 finger shoes or flip flop 🩴. I am surprised that Fedex let you wear them there & i think that is so cool man that you wear them there. I think it's a good work out on your feet 🦶 & toes man. Question do you know what are the other toes shoes are? I would like to check them out & get a pair of these too cuz i like the way they look on your feet 🦶 too. Good video buddy thanks you for sharing this video buddy.
So the ones that aren’t from Vibram are from Peluva. I have a review of them on the Sons of Sever channel you can go check out
@@Deliverypros Oh okay thank you so much. I will go check your reviews out. I like the Peluva too.
Have 2 local contractors out of the nearest FedEx center that are offering 200/day w/ no benefits & "100-150 parcels up to 200 at holidays" or 900-1020 per week w/ benefits "~120 stops per day", both include poss of bonuses according to the postings, both 5 day work weeks (Mon-Fri or Tue-Sat). Either one of those jump out as a "better" offer than the other? I know there's a million other variables at play I could type here plus all the other unknowns (like how good are the contractors, etc.), but just comparing those raw numbers above, any opinion on which sounds "better?"
Both paying $200 per day?
@@Deliverypros basically, yeah - also a couple others in same ballpark of pay offered. Looks like 5 contractors out of the same hub, all hiring FT and PT, varies between 160-200$/day and 2 of the 5 offer benefits
@@Bluebloods7 if there’s one that does 200 a day and offers benefits that’s what I would go for for sure
@@Deliverypros that's what I was thinking... maybe can leverage them against each other haha, knowing the need is broad atm among several diff contractors and I have prior relevant experience to cite which helps. Thank you!
@@Bluebloods7 work it boss. Let me know what you end up with
I miss my toe shoes. They’re so cool. I wish I could wear them at work
Where do you work that frowns upon the toe shoes??
@Delivery Pro Army probably industrial with steel toe or a bank where you have to ook fancy
Do they still pay you for finishing your route early?
I’m paid per day and per stop so it has nothing to do with how fast I finish
What socks do you wear?
I have a couple different brands of toe socks I have been using. That’s another video that we are going to do on the other channel with my brother. But the ones I like best are from a company called creepers. And then the other ones that I really like are actually from Vibram.
@@Deliverypros What's your other channel?
@@cartpush3r13 Sons of Sever
I feel like those would be painful to wear everyday for me.
Definitely don’t want them to be the first minimalist shoes you ever wear haha
What time do you dispatch
Between 7:30 and 8:30 most days. Sometimes as late as 9, which is super dumb
Can you do a video fedex is buying out the ground contractors full company going to be fedex
I haven’t heard anything about this so far. In fact, my contractor just told me that he just renewed his contract. So as far as I know, as of right now, nothing is changing for us here.
@@Deliverypros ok just keep you’re eyes moving. I know for a fact (confirmed) alaska and Hawaii is all express they bought out ground so maybe it will be state by state idk just sharing info i was told so people aren’t surprised..always have a backup plan
😅 those are disturbing
You sound like my wife 😂
