Giddy up! This was a great video. Loved every book. Never would have looked at any of these as a kid. Now? Westerns? Yes please!

Some cool comics mate, thanks for the information and the flip throughs, I am not a western collector but if I ever saw some going cheap I am sure I'd buy them. Cool tunes too, I do a 50's music podcast with my dad and he sometimes plays some old country/hillbilly style so I dug the tracks. Have you heard Pistol Boogie by Dick Stratton? It's a cool song, I used it once on a Fallout 4 game video that I made! Also do you follow Surf Blue? He often posts western related stuff on his channel that might interest you.

As a big collector of westerns, this was a real darn tootin' treat! I find that the horses series (such as your Black Fury, Silver, and Champion) are often among the cheapest to buy among the Golden Age westerns. The Prize Western Comics is one of my favorite series to collect because they ussually feature John Severin (one of the top five western artist in my humble opinion) art. He was sadly absent from the last end run of the series, but you got some art by master Mort Meskin, so thats a pretty nice consolation! Very fun Haul Q.N.S.! As always, excellent presentation with cool tidbits of infos. Well done!

The series ended only 6 issues after Severin stopped working on it. In the second half of '55 he was also working on EC's shot-lived "Extra" concept, but mostly all Marvel/Atlas - it looks like this year is when he moved into the "Bullpen".
