so, i ran out of characters in the description.. instead, i'll be providing my short thoughts here! please, excuse my selfishness! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- HM#3 - it's such a cute simple song.. the lyrics aren't too complex either so, as a non-japanese speaker, i can appreciate that! the contrast between the album cover and the song itself is quite funny too, haha. HM#2 - high energy, and it's great for workouts.. it's one of the few songs i put on for that reason! although, it's not fully my style.. i can absolutely get behind this, maybe it's the vocals? or the instrumental? either way, very nice. HM#1 - happy instrumentals! i don't know what the lyrics are.. could they be darker than what's implied? well, no matter.. it's great at keeping me happy! #15 - senya.. i haven't heard a bad song with her yet! i'm sure i don't need to explain this one, haha. #14 - the first video on this list, and the main song i put on while working out..! it's not particularly fast or high energy, so why? i'm not sure.. it could be the many chus. #13 - well, this is just a workout list at this point... can't blame me though! it's amazing! that's not the only reason though as this is also one of the first "U.N. Owen was Her?" arrangements i've ever listened to so, it bears a sense of nostalgia for me.. #12 - a fairly new song that has grown quickly on me.. despite being an individual work, it surprised me a lot! Mizune Yamu (song artist) also has other songs that aren't specifically touhou that are incredible too, i'd recommend checking out their channel here.. www.youtube.com/@mizuneyamu #11 - i somehow only discovered this song recently but it immediately became a top song for me! slow and melodic.. it feels like you're truly being embraced by the light. it's an out of this world experience to listen to. i'm sure that given more time, it'll go even further down the list. #10 - another one of the first songs for me.. it's something i can always put on and not get tired of! to be honest though, i'm disappointed with how i edited this.. i wish i could have done more and better. #9 - i love the drums, i love the drums, i love the drums. they do so much for the song.. this doesn't undermine anything else at all though! every part of this song goes amazingly well together #8 - nostalgic song, once again. it's calming. it's quiet. it's nice. it's a song that i can drift away to.. short and easy. #7 - terrifying, it makes you feel powerful! the menacing instruments, vocals, and lyrics go hand in hand to provide one of the outright coolest arrangements of this theme. #6 - the slowest one on this list and that is to its benefit. i love sleeping to this song. it doesn't give off an absolutely sad feeling but instead, it gives kind of a bittersweet (?) feeling. #5 - i can't exactly describe this one.. it really gives off that feeling of the foggy future, maybe? it feels so far yet, so close.. whatever that feeling is, it's incredible. ah, and the text on screen is for the most part, unrelated to the song.. only taking tiny bits of ideas from the original lyrics. #4 - i believe this is one of the most popular songs on here, if not, the most! that's for good reason too! it's pretty fun to listen to, it was hard to decide between the many different versions of this song but i chose this version as it was a lot more classic. they're all great though! with that, i figured that it would be interesting to give off that sense of classic nostalgia with some old touhou videos! i hope i was able to convey that well! #3 - top 3, i felt like i couldn't give the lowest one bronze so, take silver, haha! anyways.. this music video in specific, has great mastering that improves the original song by a mile! i remember keeping this on loop for a whole day; i don't know what the reason is? this song is so easy to just listen to in the background. i think ayaponzu is just simply too good of a singer. #2 - senya, again! like #3, it is so easy and especially fun to leave in the background. i must have listened to this over 1,000 times at this point! i'm not sure what else to say.. it's just an absurdly good song. #1 - finally, the last song and my favorite. to begin, i'd like to say that this masterpiece has done much for me mentally.. i've always felt lost in life, unsure of what to do in certain situations. i would worry, sweat, and be completely out of my mind but, as soon as i put on this song, i would calm down and be able to go on again. it pushes me to keep going forward. i don't listen to it as much as the rest on this list because i want to keep my love for this song forever. so, despite everything going on in life, this is the one thing that'll always stay consistent. now, for the music itself, the vocals do the most for me. the singer gives off a sad feeling but it doesn't feel like it's hopeless. the meaning of the lyrics aren't fully clear to me but, i interpret it as hope and the sense of trying to move on as if there is something or someone waiting for me at the end of it all. haha, anyways, i won't go further than this as to not waste anymore of your time! it's a beautiful song, that's all! ☆ to wrap this comment up, i'd like to say that from the bottom of my heart, thank you to anyone who decides to read through this mess. you have my eternal gratitude. please, stay safe and try to look ahead in life. there is always something more for you out there. it's simple positivity, i know.. i apologize that it is but, i'd like the best for everyone especially in these rough times. i hope that these songs can ignite something in you such as they have for me.. so, push! push! keep going! whatever you'd like to do, i wholeheartedly believe in you! ^^ ♡ p.s. - sorry if the thumbnail text is poorly translated..

Story of scarlett is such a classic I remember it was one of the first remixes i heard when I saw how many versions of un owen was her there were.. especially when i first found out about BENTELAL (youtube channel) and how many hours of songs there were.. On another note, I usually remember the songs based on their image, because I dont know enough japanese yet to remember the names, so when Adauchi S just disappeared a few years ago I was very saddened I have probably listened to these songs at least 50 times, I remember there was a time I wanted to record and save as many of them as I could because a lot of them were going down. That was a pretty sad time for me because I knew I could not save everything, especially when I hold these songs dearly.
