A lot of enthusiasts give Millennium a bad rap for not being especially forceful, which may have some truth to it, but this ride is still absolutely beautiful and features one of THE best drops of all time.
Watching this video brings back memories of the year this ride first opened, 2000. You had to get a ticket which told you at what time you had to enter the line. Because the wait times were horrendous for this coaster upon its opening. 7 hour wait times were reported. Kingda Ka was the same way. Between the wait times and the rides breaking down at times, the wait to ride was tough on those two coasters. Although I don't remember ever having to get a ticket to get in line at a certain time for Kingda Ka.
No problem. I'm looking forward to the rest of your Cedar Point footage! And honestly, I just want to put this out there, besides the professional POV's from ThemeParkReview, your onride footage is overall my favorite out of all the onrides on UA-cam. And I've seen A LOT. Like, too much... It seems that you never cease to get a sharp, clear HD picture with great color and no noticeable fish-eye effect. Plus the videos are smooth and you hold the camera very steadily. Keep it up, man!
Jeez, just watching off ride povs of this coaster give me goosebumps. Lol, but I need to experience it! The adrenaline seeking, roller coaster loving side of me would be so disappointed, and regretful for not riding it.
The cable Lift Hill definitely sent The Trains to The Top So Much Faster back then, and The Trains had Much more Speeds into The Overbanked Turns, and Hills.
1. This ride doesn't have ANY inverts (so no loops OR twists) 2. Not all coasters with inversions have shoulder bars 3. Shoulder bars are made for floorless coasters, not coasters with inversions
Mohamed Alemara This ride has no airtime. It’s just designed to look that way to get people to ride it. I’ve been over that “hill” 30 times and it always just seemed like a forced element to me
It looks like you put a lot of effort into capturing all these shots. Its definitely not an easy ride to film and film well. The only thing I don't think I saw that I would have liked to see was some shots from (Adventure?) Island from the open spot that is in the middle of the third overbanked turn. Nevertheless, truly awesome footage!
I would suggest Early-Mid June for lines to be shorter. However, if you go in Late June/July/August, two days is enough to do everything without the Fast Lane.
I went on June 25th 2013 and the line for dragster was like 10-15 minutes! Just go in June. Trust me, I had to learn the hard way when I went on July 15th last year.
Does anyone ever notice how sometimes when they go down the drop on the first hill the cart slowly goes over the top and straight down, and then other times it goes over the top and you’re immediately pulled down over the drop. If that make sense 😂
I’m I the only one that gets that adrenaline rush just by entering the park and by hearing the screams of people having the time of their lives on the roller coaster.. no.. just me... ok
It’s a good ride but too overrated. There is little to no airtime and the ride keeps repeating itself. It is very predictable and Cedar Point acts like the first drop makes up for the rest of the ride being bland. Theres like 2 floater airtime hills but no ejector. Just saying, I think Six Flags New England’s hypercoaater beats this by far
Ironically, I find the best part of the ride (well, second maybe, behind the drop and first overbank) to be that little bunny hop by the station just before the final overbank. That's the best airtime in the whole ride I feel.
I was a little nervous going on this ride, but it's honestly less intense than the Dragster, Maverick, and maybe even the Raptor. There's no butterfly feeling with the first drop and the so-called "airtime" hills don't give you airtime. Now don't get me wrong, this ride is A LOT of fun (the best part is still the first drop because the view looks amazing) but this ride is essentially just going up and down. There's no butterfly feeling in your stomach.
A lot of enthusiasts give Millennium a bad rap for not being especially forceful, which may have some truth to it, but this ride is still absolutely beautiful and features one of THE best drops of all time.
OMG I LOVE the music in the station!!!
Same here
I just just love the way those early 2000’s intamin trains look
So smooth, a excellent coaster!!! It deserves all the awards it won!! 10 out of 10, top 10 worthy!!!
It's amazing that after almost 16 years, this ride is still so good.
Who else loves the station music?
I do
Lol I rode it yesterday for de first time and yes I love it
It’s my ringtone
My favorite shot is 1:30, I just love that view!
rollercoastersarelife I know right?! It looks so tall!!
I sure do love the airtime hills

It’s the same process right now with the tickets during covid I just rode it yesterday
That thing is a monster. 310 ft that drop from the back row must be awesome!
This ride is so great. I have yet to make it on all the coasters at CP, but this one is definitely my favorite!!
something about the mantis and millenium shot i will always remember and love.
I have never been so nervous to get on a ride then when i rode MF. The fact you leave the station and u go right up lift is crazy!! lol
My biggest goal in life right now is to go to cedar point
You'll have a ton of fun at cedar point. Trust me, it's worth the trip 👍

The first hill of the Millennium force is higher than my GPA 😂I can’t wait to ride it 😊🎢😎
Thank you for this amazing video!

Its even higher than being on any drug!
Best coaster for a backseat ride.
thesoftparade1990
Haha, now it’s Steel Vengeance

ive been waiting to come here since i was like 5-6 years old, and 16 years later... i think this is finally the summer it all happens
My first Giga Coaster
i really wanna go on that ride
I’ve saved this comment. Have you rode it yet?
YASSS!!!!!
Fun ride can`t wait
I love these really really close up shots :3
I am ‘scared! There are very few off-ride videos that give me vertigo. This ride is insane indeed! PWG
The cable Lift Hill definitely sent The Trains to The Top So Much Faster back then, and The Trains had Much more Speeds into The Overbanked Turns, and Hills.
Wow this is from a little while ago judging by that song :P
What song?
Lovin’ the profile pic BTW!
Your awesome! Keep up the good work!
You're*
love ur videos :)
Woah, it only has a lap bar and it goes so high up with loops and twists :0
+ILoveAnimals There actually aren't any loops on the ride :D
Matt_Kobe Games Oh lol
ILoveAnimals mind blown!! Right?
1. This ride doesn't have ANY inverts (so no loops OR twists)
2. Not all coasters with inversions have shoulder bars
3. Shoulder bars are made for floorless coasters, not coasters with inversions
My favorite still
Am I the only one who actually felt the airtime just by watching @ 8:36 ?

@@StrykThaSceneMF has 3 brief airtime moments. The hill after tunnel #1, hill before tunnel #2 and hill next to station.
Millennium force is the best

when is the best time of the year to go to Cedar Point? As if you were a tourist.
I would suggest Early-Mid June for lines to be shorter. However, if you go in Late June/July/August, two days is enough to do everything without the Fast Lane.
Suggest during school like in the end of May. Just have your mom take you out of school if you are a kid. (On my moms account)
Jason K I went on June 19th and the lines weren't long at all it's a great.
I went on June 25th 2013 and the line for dragster was like 10-15 minutes! Just go in June. Trust me, I had to learn the hard way when I went on July 15th last year.
Went on it today

I saw mantis before it turned into rougarou
I’m I the only one that gets that adrenaline rush just by entering the park and by hearing the screams of people having the time of their lives on the roller coaster.. no.. just me... ok
MidnightWarrior 15
It’s crazy to me how you can hear the screams of people 300+ feet in the air as if they were right next to you!
I get the rush just pulling into the parking lot and getting out to hear the screams
im taking a trip to ohio on sunday night so I will be on that Monday
You would have had to pay extra to get on the island, so I can understand why you wouldn't want to do that just to get a few shots. :)
This ride has the cheesiest music ever
LucBuzz
No u

+Steven Byers yes there is
To each their own, but I felt no butterflies-in-stomach feeling and I've been on plentttyyyy of roller coasters.
