I rode this thing for the first time a few days ago, AT NIGHT, and I will say this... my first ever coaster was the Magnum XL200 at age 11, when it was still the world's tallest, and I've loved roller coasters ever since. I'm no stranger to whatever a roller coaster throws at you... I have *NEVER EVER* stumbled out of a coaster car like a drunk in a state of semi-shock and confusion before, until THIS ride. Steel Vengeance is insanity personified in a roller coaster. It's incredible. Especially at night. Who is the individual who thought this thing up??? Who saw this kind of potential in the overall Mean Streak design?! Sheesh!
RMC is the company behind these coasters. Alan Schilke is the guy who does the layouts. He’s designed some of the most famous coasters of all time, ex. X2 at Six Flags Magic Mountain. I’ve been on a few of them and each one was incredible in their own way. Funnily enough, in terms of forcefulness Steel Vengeance was not as intense as the other two RMC’s that I’ve ridden. Lightning Rod and Storm Chaser are just downright violent and so aggressive. SV is my number one coaster though by a long shot, it’s just such a complete ride that has it all.
Well, then, Alan Schilke is a mad genius. The only real question is which category will this coaster take #1 in the 2018 GTAs... steel or wood? Or will they create an entirely new hybrid category? I guess only time will tell...
Unrequited RMC has two track types. Steel Vengeance and most of their other coasters use their I-Box track which is all steel. The I-Box coasters are considered steel for ranking purposes since there’s no wood what so ever on the actual track. These hybrids aren’t new, they’ve been building them since 2011. They’ve also got their topper track, which are classified as wooden coasters. It uses a larger layer of steel on the rail than a traditional wooden coaster but the track itself is made of wood. Here’s a video of some of their other rides: ua-cam.com/video/Drcl-s7tR5A/v-deo.html
I’ve been on every single cedar point and Kings island coaster and not one has made me feel that same way steel vengeance made me. I was never left speechless after riding a roller coaster until I road steel vengeance.

Just got back from cedar point yesterday! When I was in line for this, I saw phones and hats everywhere because people thought it was a good idea to take them on the coaster. Amazing ride btw!!!
When I was in the station I saw on the T.V screen it said "An old Mean Streak lay beneath" I just thought that was so sad also the ride was amazing in front and especially in back at night!
I'm impressed that you were able to stay silent throughout the ride, James. No cries of "Whoa" or "Wooo", not even any laughing. I'm usually able to stay quiet on roller coasters, but Steel Vengeance will be a challenge, I suspect. Thanks for the speedy upload.

Fantastic job on this coaster, you ride it over and over and still can't remember where the twists and turns will be. Both my upper thighs came away with gigantic black and blues two days later but it was worth it.
Rode this last season, finally... First try was opening week end, wind and rain ... didn't happen. Waited till the end of the season and still rained out. Final week end of the season, got my ride. I've been going to Cedar Point for about 50 years now. First rider on many over the years. I'm now 70 years young and still riding. This is the most intense ride of all time, any where! Looking forward to Buckeye day and the Point. Will have to ride this again one more time before I say enough. Body can only take so much abuse.
This ride is amazing!! Probably the best at cedar point. I rode this a couple days ago and sadly I lost my glasses on it cause I didn’t know how intense it was!! Still sad about that but at least it was on a ride this good!! Rode it 3 more times after that.
Skylar Trbl I’m surprised they didn’t make you leave your glasses in a locker. When I went on they had employees standing near the entrance to the ride making sure everyone placed all loose items in lockers.
I love this! I just rode this today lots of stomach drops😂wouldn’t recommend to anyone who doesn’t like that. Also the lines are super insane I was there on a Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and I got through 40 minutes with fast pass.
Last went in 17. Saw the workers doing something on then mean streak. Figured just tearing down. Weeks later announcement of steel vengeance. Soo excited to see they kept the meanstreak and added all this to make an all new ride. Can't wait to ride at America's roller coast.
I rode this roller coaster and it is extremely amazing I mean it was the best roller coaster I've been on in a long time so of you go to cedar point i encourage you to ride this especially at night save it to be your last ride for the night and you won't be disappointed
For people who are not from around the Cedar Point area, you should definitely take a visit. I haven't rode this yet but I'm going to sometime this summer. I just have to build up the courage to lol. I don't think you will regret taking a trip to Cedar Point.

Bf and I had the pleasure of riding this awesome coaster over the weekend. It was worth purchasing the fast pass plus for this. The back seat was the best seat on the house if you like to be whipped up and down, side to side with extra hang time 😁
This is one of my FAVORITE roller coasters. I rode it with my cousin last year when we were on vacation. It was so smooth, so fast, and so fun! My hands were aching afterwards because my cousin was squeezing the handle bars so much her knuckles were hitting mine.
I was very fortunate to only wait an hour to get on this ride. It was yesterday when the power outage happened so i think the park emptied alot and we went on steel vengeance in the late evening. Very amazing ride... might be the best in the park now

Wow. I've been on every type of coaster there is and most of the big ones in the country, but when I'm getting scared watching a video of the damn thing, I can only imagine what riding it is like. Hope to ride this in the very near future!
The best coaster I've ever been on!
*DO NOT TOUCH THE ORANGE LAPBARS*
Why what will happened if you do grab the orange lap bar
@@ferrykent433 they say that several times when you're getting in the ride. I guess they want three ride attendant to push the bat down for you.
@@rucray7870 It's because they can't check your seat belt if your lap bar is already down when they come to check it.
PATRICK: Touch.
I rode this for the first time yesterday and WOW! Absolutely AMAZING roller coaster! My wife and I waited 2 hours to ride it and it was worth every minute! Unfortunately we weren’t there long enough to ride it multiple times.
Now THAT looks like a wild ride.
I just went to Cedar Point and only rode this ride twice; nothing else. And it was the best trip to Cedar Point I have ever taken.
Just got back from cedar point yesterday! When I was in line for this, I saw phones and hats everywhere because people thought it was a good idea to take them on the coaster. Amazing ride btw!!!
I’ve never gone to cedar point, but I so badly want to ride every ride there. So fun!
Thanks for the speedy upload.
jpwcpa I’ve trained myself to stay quiet 😂
So like the opposite of TPR
V.I.F. yuppppp
I destroyed my voice doing it yesterday
My favorite coaster....
Have rode everything at Kings Island & CP a million times, as well as some smaller Parks
This is by far my fave coaster I have rode....Gotta ride back seat lol..
✌
I just got back from cedar point and steel vengeance didn’t disappoint. Best roller coaster I’ve ever ridden.
Best video I've seen so far. Bad-ass from start to finish. Day and night rides are totally different, night being the best in my opinion. FANTASTIC coaster and great redesign of previously all-wooden coaster. It will N-O-T disappoint. Way to go Cedar Fair.
Just went today for first time, it was insane best ride at the park by far was so impressed the air time the rolls the drops everything about it is amazing ! Great job RMC
I thought top thrill dragster was the most thrilling ride id ever been on. Till this. WOW. WOW WOW WOW WOW
This looks like one violent ride. Thanks for the heads up!
i rid it this year and OMG from the mean streak the beat you up and gave headaches to this beautiful, smooth, and downright awesome ride. it is definitely worth the wait
On the screen when the train blackjack is in the station it says “a mean streak lies beneath,” hehehe
Visted Cedar Point in July..last time I was there, Top Thrill Dragster was the newest ride. Steel Vengence man, 10/10, the best coaster I've been on. It looks insane, it's insanely fun, yet insanely smooth.
Fantastic job on this coaster, you ride it over and over and still can't remember where the twists and turns will be. Both my upper thighs came away with gigantic black and blues two days later but it was worth it.
Steel Vengeance and Maverick will forever be my favorites
This rollercoaster is an absolute masterpiece. A must ride.
I am going to ride it again in a couple of days. Haven’t rode it since June 2018.
Last went in 17. Saw the workers doing something on then mean streak. Figured just tearing down. Weeks later announcement of steel vengeance. Soo excited to see they kept the meanstreak and added all this to make an all new ride. Can't wait to ride at America's roller coast.
The name of the coaster and the screams are priceless!!
I rode this roller coaster and it is extremely amazing I mean it was the best roller coaster I've been on in a long time so of you go to cedar point i encourage you to ride this especially at night save it to be your last ride for the night and you won't be disappointed
I was waiting for ya to get this video released! Thanks man!
For people who are not from around the Cedar Point area, you should definitely take a visit. I haven't rode this yet but I'm going to sometime this summer. I just have to build up the courage to lol. I don't think you will regret taking a trip to Cedar Point.
Great Video!!! That was the longest coaster ride I've seen yet. Thanks for the ride.
Great POV! Really makes you feel like you are on it! I'm going to have to jet up to cedar point with my son this year.
Rocky Mountain construction is just NAILING it with these coaster designs! Ever since their first model in Silver Dollar City (Outlaw Run) they have expanded dramatically to the point of exponential! Eat your heart out Gravity Group and GCI! There's a new king in town!
frenchfrey65 New Texas Giant was the very first model.
Wow that looks great. Twisted Colossus at Six Flags Magic Mountain is very similar and. Very very fun. This look very similar. I love these retrofitted wood / steel hybrids.
I rode this beast in the day and night. Not on word can accurately describe this ride other that INSANE! Wow I'm so impressed with this ride that I need to go back for this one and Top Fuel Dragster. But This one is just Wicked fun!
I rode SV for the first time yesterday and loved it! This POV is the best I've seen and catches all the elements perfectly! I'll keep watching it until I return in September lol
The new bumper cars look like a smashing hit!
That’s fucked up
Xtreme Rides TV what do you call steel vengeance in a flood? Bumper boats.
XD
lmao
Too soon
Everyone is blabbing about the lines and I just got early entry and jumped right on yesterday 😂😂
But my new favorite coaster for sure
Id buy a ticket just to ride this and Millennium Force over and over again. Best two coasters there.
Maverick is in the same park
Agreed
Rode it 3 times in a row today. That’s how good it was. I’m still in shock how amazing this ride was.
Finally had a opportunity to ride this on 9/3/22. Completely mind bending excitement. Haven’t been speechless at the end of a ride in years. This will be a hard one to top for many a year
Simply the best coaster on the planet!!!
No one's replied because no one's got anything to argue against you.
100% agreed
You can try to describe it. Wont do justice. Ill put it this way. When i exited the ride i had difficulty walking and getting down the stairs
Same, just rode it today really disorienting.
I would love to go to Cedar Point and ride this, it looks like such a cool RMC Hybrid, but I live in the UK
Just rode this coaster a few hours ago. Best one I've ever been on.
Drove 8 hours just to ride Steel Vengeance and it was worth it. Most fun coaster I've ever ridden and Maverick was great too.
Omg i love this ride. Went there for my bday this past weekend. Cedar point is the best
Happy Birthday! I would never go on this!😀
WOW..I gotta say..that looks like a blast !! I love these hybrid coasters...
It's about time. The Mean Streak was a chiropractors nightmare. This looks fun.
A chiropractor’s nightmare? You mean his/her retirement account.
What a masterpiece this ride is, poetry in motion. Wish I get to ride it someday.
Ouch
I am really hoping to get to Cedar Point this year to ride this, Valraven, and other rides I've missed over the past few years that I've been unable to be there. I hate missing my favorite place on earth. This looks amazing!!!! Great POV! Sorry if you see an extra dislike or two. That was a misaiming of my finger, and my attempt to correct it.
i rode on this a couple months ago and it is by far my favorite roller coaster ride
Holy Sith! What a beautiful Coaster!
I rode this 3 times, Steel Vengeance is The best roller coaster I ever rode! My Favorite!
I used to love roller coasters it's been so many years since I've been on one though I'm not sure I have a stomach for it anymore.
What’s the difference between Steel Vengeance and Mean Streak?
The meaning of kick-ass
A relentless masterpiece! 🙌🏻
I was very fortunate to only wait an hour to get on this ride. It was yesterday when the power outage happened so i think the park emptied alot and we went on steel vengeance in the late evening. Very amazing ride... might be the best in the park now
Been to cedar point multiple time but every time, I’ve hated coasters that drop. I’ve recently gotten over that fear so I’m very VERY excited to go on this next time I go.
It may not seem on the vid but this lift hill is super loud way louder than magnum xl 200
Wow!!! This looks INSANE!!! Can’t wait to ride this when I go to CP in 2020!
Damn good luck bud
Are you alive did you ride it
"Cedar Point is so GREAT, I hope to ride one day soon, always young at heart, my first coaster was "Blue Streak" , still love it to this day"!!!!!!!!!! 😃😎😍😄
I just rode this for the first time….. it’s my ultimate favorite ride! Nothing else compares….. literally. Chef’s kiss. And I was able to ride it at night! I’m on a giga coaster hunt at the moment ( I rode the Orion this spring and I’m addicted to giga coaster’s now) but this is the absolute best coaster ever! I don’t care how long you gotta wait, it’s totally worth it!
Got to ride this three times yesterday with a fast pass. Best coaster there! My new favorite!
