I have the same condition.shipping is not available here so all the English books we are getting is for our own country publication and it takes forever for one of my favorite books to be published here :(

I had gone maybe 3 or 4 years without finishing a single book until I found your channel. Maybe before that only 1 a year since high school.
Your favourites seemed to align so well with my taste and you explained your take so eloquently and you always know when to just say "don't go in knowing anything it is better going in blind" that you reignited my spark to read and I've read 24 books so far this year!
I've never seen you mention Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss, but I have loved every fantasy you've recommended and if you haven't already you MUST make it a top priority. It has instantly become one of my top 2 fantasy series of all time. I read and listened to it and the voice actor for it is AWESOME. Glad you're getting back in to the swing. Don't burn out girl, rest up and let the pressure off yourself

my reading slump: over a year now
i'm so sick of it ugh i miss reading, i am so behind on books! idk what to do, i've only finished 1 book this year because i couldn't focus. i am trying audiobook, and it's kinda helping and i am halfway thru sorcerer's stone! wish me luck. 😭🤟

i was in a HUGE reading slump, like 2 years. i read maybe 5 books in that time but they were all like 200-300 pages and a lot of them for school, but then at the beginning of this month i decided to re read harry potter and finished them all in like a week and just ordered like 7 new books and it’s been so nice i’ve been reading at least 3 hours everyday and i feel like myself again it’s so amazing

I was in a reading slump for almost a year, I missed reading so much at the beginning but then just gave up on tasing. I eventually started reading again about halfway through the year, it’s been about 3 months since I started reading agin, and I forget how much I loved it!
Barnes and Noble’s stickers are hard to take off cause according to them “they’re not meant to be taken off”
If it makes you feel better, you actually got me motivated to get out of my reading slump. You inspired me to fall in love with books again and I cannot thank you enough 💜

Omg, I'm Italian and we also have that series! I remember I bought some of the books from a thrift shop when I was in middle school
I’m twelve and I read a few when I was younger. So I guess some people are still reading them? Nobody really asked me, so I don’t know why I decided to write this

Yassss. I've been journaling on and off all my life and always feel so much better when I do it consistently.
Whenever I have to take a sticker off I use the blow dryer to heat it up for a couple seconds! Works every time 👍🏼

I’ve been on a reading slump for 4 months. Now I’m starting to read Clockwork Angel and I’m loving it.
Using this as motivation to clean my room: I have 37 minutes and 26 seconds and I feel more motivated than anything else could make me😂 so glad to see u back and enjoying reading😊❤ I haven't been able to read much lately cuz of my A-Levels but this makes me look forward to the end of June!

I've been having some trouble with that "all or nothing" mindset as well - I want to do so many different things and feel hyped up to do them but then do nothing because I'm overwhelmed and then feel like I'll miss out on the things I decide not to do. I don't know if that is how you feel but I definitely am glad to hear such similar feelings from someone else. I literally went through the same thing all summer. I finally had the time to read but couldn't until around September and now that school is back and I dont have as much time all I want to do is read. It definitely feels really good to have the excitement to read back!

The Babysitter's Club was an absolutely iconic series that started in the early 80s and ran into the late 90s and defined my childhood. It's literally about a group of girls who are a part of a babysitter's club and their lives. It was made into a movie and now they're doing them as graphic novels which are super cute.
I'm REALLY loving the Priory of the Orange Tree. Would reccomend.

Hana M Are the audiobooks for the A Court of Thorns and Roses series very good? That is my favorite trilogy but I have never listened to the audiobooks for it
