It's disturbing how far these men will go just to maintain 'power and control' over their wives, isolating her from their only support. Trying to get her to fire the only woman who knows what she is enduring is really low.

I hate domestic violence with a passion !! It’s really pathetic when a man abuses a woman. He loses his right to be a man. They’re called pink panty waists in my book. They’re issue is they have no confidence in themselves and so this is their way of compensating. Thank you DramatizeMe for these dramas for raising awareness in this issue.

She is such a great actress! I loved how that lady supported her! It reminded me of my family and friends, supporting me as to how I could get out of my awful marriage! I had to wait four years to be able to get out of my abusive marriage! I didn’t know how to fill out the divorce papers and I didn’t have the money to do the divorce. It took my daughter and son-in-law to get in my husband’s face for him to finally want to divorce me! He blamed everything on my family and I but I don’t care! he made it fill out that I was the person wanting the divorce but as long as I got divorced, I didn’t care! He’s now back in the country that he came from because I turned everything into Immigration! He still wants to be friends and wants me to come over and see him to have fun together And so I can get out of the North Dakota winter. I told him I don’t need to know him. I told him I didn’t want to be friends and that I didn’t care that he was happy and that he had more money than when he was over here. He never shared much of anything with me when we were married except abuse. He was very generous with that! I had plenty of practice with how to handle abuse because I lost five brothers in a house fire when I was seven. Our family was discriminated against and bullied for years, and sometimes even to today for not getting them out. There was nothing we could’ve done to get them out. Even the coroner said so. I had to go through school being bullied and abused, because there was no other way of obtaining an education. My grades were lowered as well. My siblings had this fun to deal with as well! I have a sister that has brain damage, from all the beatings we took in school. There was no home schooling at that time or transferring to different school without moving. We didn’t move. My parents fought for us the best that they could but people are sneaky and mean. So I knew how to work around being abused in my marriage, and pretending that I was happy. It was very hard and I wasn’t very good at it. Many people could tell I was unhappy. He didn’t like that. I couldn’t stay silent about things. I talk too much according to him. I told him be a better husband, and then I would do nothing but brag about him if he did it that way, but he didn’t. I can give it all to God to offer it up for whatever he needs it for.

There could be multiple reasons, a couple being because they don’t want to be a burden on anyone (feeling like they’re dragging people into their situations); or risk the potential of the people they turn to getting negatively impacted by the abuser by getting involved.

If you want to understand, you should look up videos of people who've managed to escape these situations and listen to their stories (both mens and womens), because unless you've been in one, the only way to try and understand is to listen and empathise with the people who have been through it.

I'm happy Mrs. West got help getting away from her abuser (with the help of Ginger). *NO ONE* should take that, but TBH I almost thought she was actually going to fire Ginger. I'm glad she didn't, though.
Also 12:00 "Rachael. Honey. I'm... I'm... I'm so sorry. That... that was the last time, I promise you. I'm so sorry. I will change. Hey, I will change honey."
12:16 "Don't make a monster out of me. I'm not like that. You are the monster who destroyed our family. A wife shouldn't earn more money than her husband. She shouldn't build a career if her husband's career is going down the drain. You can't be stronger than me. You can't, Rachael."
She doesn't have to make a monster out of you, Jim. You already did that yourself because you're a jealous hater. Luckily, Rachael didn't believe your bulls**t apology.

To escape an abusive relationship, you have to be a strong woman. This episode had so much talent in it, I was amazed by the all the exceptional actors in it. You had Alexandra Soroka in the lead role. You had the actor that reminds me of Russell Crowe as the wife abusing antagonist, Josh I think. The supporting actor was one of my favorites of this channel, who I sometimes get confused with Mary. Then you had the great Istan Rozumny play the boss and Denis Tuchkov play the uniformed officer. This was the best collection of talent that I have seen in an episode.on this channel. As Alexandra Soroka says, "I have some great support." That is so true and means in the story and on the set. Thank you DramatizeMe. This was awesome to behold!..

Hmmmm, do you realize that statistically speaking that it takes approximately 7 times for a Victim to leave an Abuser. And this is the Most dangerous time in his or her life. If you have never been abused, please get educated. It is cyclic and it's about power and control. When a person finally has the courage to leave more than likely they will need a lot of support emotionally and spiritually. A Victim is a shell of their former selves before abuse. Trust me, Victims don't want to stay, its an all encompassing life of torment to live with physical and mental abuse.

I remember about 20 years ago- there was a woman who was physically and mentally abused by her husband. She finally fought back, pressed charges and got an order of protection. Now she understood the game and she knew how dangerous he was and that that order of protection was just a piece of paper. Eventually he showed up banging on her door and he met her 12 gauge shotgun. Now he didn’t survive the encounter, dead on the spot. What happened to her; she wasn’t charged because when they checked his car he had weapons and 2 homemade pipe bombs. His first violation of the protective order was going to be killing her. Again she understood the threat level and opened up his chest before he could possibly torture and murder her. Take this seriously there are guys out here like this and when they think they own you they may be capable of anything and as a father of 3 daughters and 1 son-treat their mom (your wife with respect) teach them to respect themselves and to never settle- having a positive self image and understanding your worth as well as respecting the rights and personal space of others starts at home.

Great Video this shows how Tragic it shows how tragic domestic violence is a lot of men don't know why Women Put up with it I saw an experiment where a man was being abused in public by a woman (it was staged like the show what would you do) a woman saw it and said "he probably did something to deserve it" I hate that and a man said "I don't know why he would put up with that but be probably did something to deserve it" I hate that Men can be abused too I have been abused by Men and Women if I was married to someone I loved leaving her would be very hard even if she abused me abusers have their way of keeping you coming back so you see a someone being abused help them and don't assume the Man is always the Abuser sometimes the Woman is

    My add on:
Under the charges for repeated abuse towards Rachel, Jim had to pay a $10,000 fine, and was sentenced to prison for 10 years. Rachel also filed for both a divorce and a restraining order against Jim. During Jim’s time in prison, Rachel met someone else, remarried and her new husband treated her with the kindness and respect she deserved for the rest of their lives.

"The strongest person isn't necessarily the one who's quiet, but the one who finds the courage and the strength to open up and tell the truth" it's true, you don't have to be quiet to be strong, all you need is the courage and the strength to tell the truth, what Jim did to poor Rachel is disgusting, inhumane and unacceptable, only cowards can put their hands on defenseless women and he got what he deserved and I think life in prison will be too good for him and Rachel's friend Ginger did the right thing, I've seen women in my country UAE who came from around the world taking self defense classes in the gym, if I have a wife like Rachel, I'll support her in her work, whatever she asks my help I'll stand with her

Abusers and mistreaters must be reported to the police, and not continue to defend them by hiding their atrocities. THEY WILL NEVER CHANGE, not to be better by themselves; They will only change if they allow God to transform them. Otherwise, every day they will hurt you more, because that satisfies them. Woman, you are strong, more than you think. Stop the abuse!✋

There's some things that I used to learn from this job career is to speak up and don't call yourself weak always tell someone your friends your family and coworkers tell them that you've been abused and once you tell them they will help you out and you always going to be strong to talk about it.

I did like this little melodrama. It had it all: an abused heroine, a nasty villain, the kindly king (the boss), the kind and wise but helpful underling, and the satisfying comeuppance. Bravo.
