      So true!
I know a lady who struggles to take every step. She walks very awkwardly. She was born with a deformity.
She told me that many years ago a teenage boy used to mock her and walked behind her mimicking how she walked. She tried to tell him not to behave this way, but he didn't listen.
Then he disappeared for a while, and when she asked what happened to him, she was told that he had been in an accident.
When she saw him again he was walking exactly the way she walks. Only this time he wasn't laughing anymore because he couldn't walk the way he used to! It's a very harsh lesson! He probably should have listened to her! 😔

I would have loved for those charges to be pressed (plus stealing the wheelchair is a crime too, maybe petty theft?) with HATE CRIME ENHANCEMENTS. I would have loved for them to get some jail time after getting expelled.
Then there is a scene several years later where they are applying for a job and coincidentally its the same person they bullied who is interviewing them.

I think here in Finland teachers and other school stuff need to seen this episode. It opened many eyes to understand that, bullied is wrong. My english is not good, but i hope you guys understand what i mean.
I've had to experience what it's like to be bullied at school because of my visual impairment. I've had to endure bullying in every school I've attended, except for one school, from preschool to vocational school. Despite my visual impairment, I have studied myself for the professional qualification of a large-scale chef. the bullying got worse with age and school years. No one cared, except my parents. the bullying went so far that when my first six months of studies at the vocational school came to an end, I almost dropped out of school. However, I persevered until the end, when my worst bully was the idea of leaving school. If he hadn't made that decision, I would have left no later than February 2006. I started at that school in the fall semester of 2005. I graduated at the end of the spring semester of 2008, and I decided that I would not go to any school voluntarily again. The school I talked about earlier had an absolute zero tolerance for bullying. Our teacher there told us that if bullying occurs, it can lead to expulsion even without prior warning. Our group took the teacher's speech on the matter seriously, which is a good thing. I hope that if schools tell students how seriously bullying is treated, that thing would also work as they say. Unfortunately, there are very few schools that actually have zero tolerance for bullying, even though they warn about it through the mouth of teachers or the principal.

I still remember one of my teacher he's blind. He taught us History & Geography. Some of us used to go and call him before his teaching period. He's so smart. He'll understand any of us while holding his hands. I was one of his favourite student. He showed us Braille text books. There were many naughty students, but during his lectures all of them maintained the discipline. He's my teacher when I was in 8th standard. Later he transferred to some other school and I came to know that he'd started a school for blind children. When I was in degree college the one girl asked about my schooling and she told me that her father was there for almost a year. The girl is nothing other than my old teacher's daughter. Later she told me that her father still remember me and also she told me that she was the one who helped him to evaluate our exam papers. As a proof of evidence she'd told me one of the blunder answer which I wrote in exam & how funny it was. I talked to him via phone later and I was so happy. Even I got a privilege to call my friend anytime because they trusted me. I couldn't attend her marriage because of tight schedule but visited their home in advance before her marriage. That day I touched my teacher's hand again......!!!!
You guys may not get the feelings which I had..... I don't know how to express my feelings & experience....

I can relate. When I recovered from scoliosis, I had to be in a wheelchair until I was ready to walk again. When I came back to school in 6th grade some teachers and students thought it was okay to make me miserable because I was disabled. I had enough of that bullying abuse and decided to take care of my spine and protect myself from going through another surgery in the operating room again.

When the delivery boy came, she probably shouted for help and he helped her out of the bathroom and brought crutches for her from the school's clinic. After that, they deviced a plan to teach the bullies a lesson with the help of Jen's little mousy friend. 😂

After all she had been through I doubt she would have been able to do as well on the exam as she otherwise could have. I know she did not want "pity" or "special treatment" for her handicap but they put her books on the top shelf where she could not access them, locked her in the bathroom, stole her wheelchair, played loud music all night so that she could not sleep properly or concentrate.
I think she should explain all of that to the teacher and ask to take the exam tomorrow so that she can have a day to put herself back together and concentrate. Maybe even 2 days later. Such a request would be totally reasonable considering what had happened to her and would not be trying to milk her handicap at all.
