- Just a simple guide to the ins and outs of the Peak Design Everyday Backpack 20L version. While it is a great little bag, and I don't have too many negatives to say about it, the inside compartments really bother me and I find it hard to stay organized. But this could also be great for you. Hope this video helps if you're interested in buying one.

I was doing some scrambling through some brush, over 300 feet up in the air on a cliff, when the lower zipper caught up perfectly on a branch and almost released my D850 with it’s attached 70-200mm 2.8FL over a cliff, I caught it as it was releasing. 😳
I like the design of the bags, but between that incident, and the straps being not supportive enough, I can’t recommend PD bags for anything other than EDC or casual shooting in the city. I’ve had a PD sling zipper come loose in the middle of a shoot also, thus making me carry my equipment, complete failure. I’ve had the magnetic flap on the Messenger come off while riding my motorcycle.
Personally I’d recommend Mindshift for outdoors photography bags, or a real outdoors brand like Osprey or Mystery Ranch. When it comes to casual carry in the city, Billingham.
PD is 100% overrated. You know it’s bad when they’re selling them out of Best Buy next to Lowepro (a better brand IMO).
Thank you for sharing this! So glad that didn't happen! I agree, for EDC, around town, and things like that, it will do. But when you have to take a lot of gear, I think it's best to pass on it!
Loved that charcoal color way back then. Still have my 30L from 2018 and it's great! 👌
I LOVED this color. It just so different from black. And I still really enjoyed this bag. I just needed to try something different and see how much I like the side openings vs having to open from the back of the bag with my new one.
@@TheAdamToy Yeah, for me it's rather some kind of an extended office bag with ability to add a small camera setup. They updated their camera cubes last year so you can use the xsmall for the top or the smedium for the sides which is pretty cool tbh.
I must have missed that! That is what I felt was missing the most from this bag!
@@TheAdamToy Exactly, same here!
The worry that something could fall through or fall out is rough to me 😅like you said, lots of other great things about it though
Freaks me out all the time. That is exactly why I don't ever carry all my equipment.
Interesting. I love mine!
I did enjoy it. Just wasn’t for me. Glad you like yours!
Let’s goooo! Didn’t know you had a channel bro! I have the bigger version and I’ve never really liked it. I was hyped on it seeing others with it. The shoulder straps don’t stay tight and always loosen up. The inside compartments leave much to be desired. Doesn’t hold the gear in there tightly. Just my 2 cents. Thank you for sharing your experience with it. Subbed !
Trying bro! I wanted to practice video more and figure this was a good way to do that!
That is another thing I don’t like. I feel like I tighten it up and then after a few minutes it’s slips back down and the gear just moves around in the center compartment.
Adam. Lets go!
We getting started!!
The dividers could really use some mesh pockets on their own for organizing smaller items.
Yes!! That would have been a great idea!
It is overrated, for me much better is pgytech onemo 2 backpack, lol
I have heard great things. I may have to check that one out!
Bag is too heavy
Agreed!
