@@Lroselovely88 that's what I was thinking! I think any community would totally be up for these ideas and I really want to try them as well. Maybe that should be a fall challenge: people can do charity cosplays in different cities and in anyway they can (visit a hospital, read to children at a library, appear at local events, etc.). It would be so much fun!

You might not even see this as it's two years later, but you really are my comfort channel. I first found you through the "Watching the Mummy with an Egyptologist" and became a subscriber when I watched the video about "hip dips". I am here for the vintage, the make up, dramatic reading of old dairies, cosplay, craft/sewings projects. It honestly gives me ideas for fun off the wall stuffs I wanna try but like with crafts I can actually do and my skill level. And now you are at 1 million + subscribers. So just happy and will continue to be happy! You bring so much joy into a lot of lives!

Dude you should totally try the library idea! I work at a library in RI ( idk if booking performers is diff in MA ) and all our local libraries all over the state love to book performers like that to do read-alongs/ story times! Especially during the holiday season when it can be like a themed thing! I bet they’d be happy to hear from you 😁

Oh my god my heart skipped a beat when you mentioned the 10th Kingdom! That mini series holds such a special place in my childyhood. So happy you get to experience it in all its cheesy glory. My fav section has always been when they go to Little Lamb Village.

Honestly my best friend and I were talking yesterday about how refreshing it is to have someone interested in cosplay, and makeup, and just being such a down to earth person. We both agreed you 100% would be one of our friends. I love your whole channel, down to the vintage stuff. It’s just really cool to see someone like you on a platform like this. I also get so much joy out of pleasing kids when in cosplay. I was supergirl last year and a 4 year old girl cried thinking I was actually her hero.

When I was on disability last year, I really started to fall in love with UA-cam for the same reason... it made me feel like I wasn't completely alone
As a library board trustee, love the cosplay story time idea. I would definitely approach public libraries in your area and ask if that would be something they would like to add to their children’s programming/summer reading programs. I think nursing/retirement homes may also appreciate the idea for their residents. I think the residents would love seeing your vintage style. In the homes near me, they look for volunteers who would be willing to read the newspaper to residents or ask about coming in to play cards with some residents, put together puzzles, or sing.
The story time with Belle idea is something I would have loved as a child. You should totally do that and keep us updated!! ❤️❤️

As a mom of 2 kids that are frequently having stays at the children’s hospital Boston, I can say that when the characters come to the hospital it’s some of my kids favorite things! A very excellent idea. Ariel came to read to my daughter after surgery and it made her entire day. I think that’s a fantastic idea!
Love the initiative for charity, and I love every video you make, cosplay related content, vlogs, costumes, vintage. You have a unique vibe and please never ever change that, it's what makes you exceptional. Especially talking about deodorant.

You do you hun, best advice I've ever gotten. Don't apologize for content you are excited about. You are essentially sharing different parts of yourself, no one is one sided, how boring! You're cute as a button and I have started embracing my more vintage style, with more ideas now , thanks to you. But I also enjoy anything you put up. You'll attract the right people when you stay true to yourself.

I have always loved the style bit sacred of 1) the money investment since I'd like to start with a few quality pieces and 2) im plus size. Im sacred ima be judgedDd
When I was little I was in hospital for two months and every Sundays there were this cosplayers who came to visit us kids, make us laugh, play with us...it was really nice, you could forget for a while that you were actually hospitalized and enjoy the moment
(Also english is not my main language, so I don't know if I made some mistakes, if I did, please point them out so I can correct myself)
Storytime with Belle is a great idea! Definitely reach out not only to local libraries but also to local public elementary schools! It would be a fun way for them to celebrate National Reading Day in the spring or just get kids excited about reading in general.
The orange on and around the nose gives me scarecrow vibes! So cute! Also, that Belle idea sounds great, I imagine you'd probably have to get a criminal record check first, but I'd think your public library would be super excited about the idea!

When you said the 10th Kingdom I almost lept out of my seat. I love it sooo much. I’ve been trying to find something similar but to no avail.
The film Willow (1988) has a similar feel in my opinion. I really liked it 😊
I think doing a story time at a library is a good way to get into it. Visiting children’s hospitals can be tricky and I’ve met party princesses who really don’t know how to properly talk to the children. It’s hard! I’ve volunteered as a princess for children’s hospitals and make-a-wish and seen a lot of great princess actresses sort of crumble under the pressure and emotional weight of being with ill children. It is very fulfilling to hang out with children as a character and again story times are an easier way to start out because most of the time is spent storytelling and you can ease in to all the questions children will most definitely have! This was just my opinion as a former party princess and volunteer but I hope it helped :-)

Definitely go talk to your local public library about the possibility of doing a Belle story time or a program about cosplay/costume-making. The public library is always very active in the community and would be happy to at the very least point you in a direction to help you find an event or charity where you can share your love of cosplay and your skills

Doing a Books With Belle character meet-and-greet is such a lovely idea!! I have a friend who is a mermaid and she did that, reading on-theme books at the local library with kids for an hour or so. You should totally do it!!
Yeah I'm surprised there wasn't some kind of contract requirement to work for NYX after winning or something. Or at least a colab. Re recreating v creating - just "create" what you want before you go to LA then recreate it there. At least then you might feel comfortable.
The charity thing would be great. You could also take a bunch of craft stuff to a kids hospital and help them make costumes. - oh shit now your talking about costume workshops I'm laughing my ass off.
I wonder if a dance school would help you do a 'learn to dance like Belle' ie Ballroom type dancing class to raise money. That might be cool.

My friend and I watch and enjoy ALL of your videos. The crafty bits are good, although I am here to be inspired to better hone my own vintage wardrobe, and I am never disappointed. In all honesty, the thing that really hooked me, (and my friend who told me to watch your videos) is your sense of humour. We just never know what you or Frodo is going to say or do next, and we love it. Keep up the good work!

I put this in another video - but if you have any yard space, you should see if Lowes will sponsor you for a backyard shed/room you could work in. Have more windows and a craft setup. Would give you a work space you can style how you need without interrupting the house.
