As a Canadian, I can confirm that there is no way that a Canada goose would let anyone by, those things are freaking terrifying.

This particular vid from DDoI made me wonder if the lightning bug he meant at 1:18 is just a firefly. Turns out yeah, it is just another way to say firefly, as pointed by a Google search snippet from a portion of an article by Prevention: _Lightning bugs and fireflies are the exact same insect. The terms are the result of distinct regional dialects._ "Fireflies" are more popular with younger American whereas "lightning bugs" are more often used by people in the east side of the United States.
I also found out that they are actually beetles, and turns out they're called flash beetles. (yeah what tf)

But people are very judgmental about first appearances especially in customer facing jobs…. We have subconscious biases about appearances… and fat shaming is still acceptable even if an individual is not asking for any accommodations.

I was at a restaurant and looked up just in time to see someone moving _way to fast_ toward the cars stopped at a nearby red light. We could all hear the brakes squeal, then watched as he decelerated, but not _quite enough_. He just barely bumped the SUV in front of him, then that unmarked SUV lit up light a christmas tree!

I (and a few other restaurant goers) watched another really irresponsible driver doing something stupid, in our case, speeding way too fast as he approached a red light. And then there was "magically" a cop there, i.e. in our case, it was the SUV that the irresponsible driver hit. As soon as there was contact between them, all the lights on the cop's SUV lit up.
