So I know what you mean as I have my dodge as my left thumbstick. You just need what I call button discipline (no unnecessary inputs) say I want to tap dodge to the left I can just hold left and click the thumbstick. You’ll get the forward animation but you still go the direction you want. Keep practicing this and you’ll get the timing and feel of clicking the thumbstick and left at the same time to get your desired tap dodge.
Back to the basics!!!!
