Great video despite the dirty window. I know some of Hawaii's major airports will be getting major expansions soon, HNL is being expanded for sure as is HKO. They need it for sure! Great footage from your travels as well of the beaches and sunsets 👍
I've regularly flown Hawaiian inter-island for work and family business. The filthy windows have become an issue in the last 18 months. I'm going to loudly complain. No excuse for this, especially given the monopoly-high fares. Still, mahalo for the video.
I only wish that passengers could use Windex to clean the dirt and water spots on their respective windows! At one time,there were 3 airlines you could choose from--Hawaiian,Aloha and Island Air--now Hawaiian has a monopoly on inter-island flights and probably charges a fortune. At takeoff,was that a USN aircraft carrier anchored off-shore? As you were descending,was thinking that residents of the islands may well use Hawaiian to shuttle to say,Honolulu for shopping and entertainment and back in a day or so.Interesting that Maui has jetbridges whereas Kona does not.The Maui terminal looks cramped.Its unsettling to me to see tourist lodging built within feet of the surfline--if it ever floods,those places are in trouble! Island sunsets are very pretty to observe--looking at the folks on the beach,strange to think that everybody there is from someplace else on the mainland
