BF2 was also $50 upon release, and is several GBs worth of space. BF1943 is $15 and is only half a gig. Both games are great, though, and totally worth their respective purchase price

you have to aim over you target if you want to hit him couse the bullet is going down

@MrMaaginenMasa not in 1943 you don't, in Bad Company 1 + 2 and Battlefield 3 (when it comes out) you do, but there is no bullet drop on any guns in BF1943, (only on explosives like rocket launchers, tank cannons, rifle-grenades, grenades), but there is NO bullet drop on any guns in BF1943, but there is still bullet travel time though, cos bullets don't reach their target immediately

This game is pretty good only thing that sucks is that max amount of players is only 24... Which is pretty low compared to BF2 which has 64 and that game is way more older...

Snipers have a poor up close game, but they can demolish tanks. Rifleman get fucked hard by tanks; you're practically defenseless. I like playing rifleman, but infantry and tanks can fuck things up with visibility problems in the game.
I've been at a fair distance from an infantry solider from behind, got of 3 rifleman shoots before he turned around and sprayed me to death.
I've also been in games where it was as if the other team was all organized in 4 man squads talking while ours wasn't.

You're so lucky you didn't get back stabbed on that streak. I DLed the demo after watching your first session and after playing tutorial for 3 hours and 2 or 3 quick games I bought it last Sunday. It's a really fun game for $15, but of coarse I have complaints.

The game is bias towards the Infantry class. Infantry is deadly to ALL soldiers up close and have a fighting chance against a Tank. The synergy between Infantry and tanks is off the charts because they can fix vehicles and because most points are awarded for CONSTANTLY driving from flag to flag capturing.
As long as people are jumping around like assholes while constantly moving distance shooting with rifles FAILS; sniper or rifleman rifle.
