Go for it dear. It will work just fine starting that way. Follow Ben's tips and advice and get his book or even go to learnhotdogs.com and you will find tons of information for free. I invested nearly 1000.00 in the power lemon smasher (not the one Corey designed) and compressor and I hated it. It splattered lemon juice all over my arms. I bought a hand crank lemon squeezer from Amazon for 60.00 and love it.

I use stevia for people who want to stay away from the sugar. You could also use xylitol but put it in the blender first because it doesn't disolve very fast.
Monkfruit works great and no weird aftertaste.

How many cups you get from a lemon??
It is so frustrating when people talk about how cheap it is for a 32 oz cup. No, No, No, I pay 69 cents just per lemon. I have almost a buck into each cup. I am not complaining because at 5.00 each I am still making a little over 4.00.
You are paying way too much. Farm produce distributors or broadlines are the way to get them the cheapest.

Looking to start a cart, everyone does BBQ grill cooking I was thinking to change it up and put a flat top grill, what do you think about that, I feel I could put more dogs on the flat top and better cooking control? Love to here your opinion.
Lots of vendors love the flat top and some vendors use a little griddle flat top over their grills.

Can you make good money selling cans of soda and bottled water at events?
I went to an event once and was doing hot dogs. I had water and other drinks... water sold like crazy... so the next day I had tubs filled with bottled water and we sold over 900 bottles that day.

Usually $1-$3, higher end of that and a little more at events.
