After the fire in butte county my self and my family lost everything but eachother. And after months and hardship after hardship we will finally be able to open our cart un 2 weeks :) Thank you!!!

    Found out here in South Carolina you do not need a commissary if you dont work a spot more then 3 days. If you move around to different areas you don't have to have one.

      Wow! I've never heard that before and we have tons of vendors in SC that move around.

    I bought Ben's program 2 years ago. But my 9-5 sucked me back in. After my Soul being ripped away from a corporation FOR ANOTHER 2 YEARS, I finally had enough, diving all in this week. After re reading His Program, Ben is not BSing, he literally gives you a script, you just have to get off your ass to do it. Worth the money, Thanks for the Good content Ben, Glad to see your still just as lively as you were a couple years ago!

    Does the hotdog cart have to be stored at the commissary or can you store it in storage?

    Great information. Thanks one town the cart I am trying to buy can get permitted in one town with a commissary but not another so the letter would clear me. This information was so helpful.

    I live in the Asshat State...GA🤦🏾 where you have to be a owner of the kitchen and commissary. I didnt open the hot dog stand because I wasnt sure if I wanted to go that route anymore because of the red tape. I ended up opening a banquet hall instead. Now I'm thinking about adding a commercial kitchen to it just to be my own commissary. So I can snatch off that red tape and BOOOOM DROP THAT HOTDOG CONCESSION STAND. I want to do festivals and events.

    washington state adjusted the regulations so you dont need a commissary if you have the required items in your food cart, but depending on the county they could require it. Arizona solved all this shit by just having one state license for mobile food vendors

    Hi Ben, Mike here from Hello Doggie working out of Central Wisconsin. In you opinion, should you have all you licensing and insurance in place before you ask for permission to use a commissary? This way you can show the commissary owner your legit. I know you advise to have all you all this in place when you ask to set your cart at a location. Thank you for all the great information on you site.

    • @BensCarts
      @BensCarts  3 роки тому +1

      I teach to have your insurance. You can get the business license first too but the vending license with the HD will have to wait on having a commissary most likely.

    Here around Raleigh NC the so called shared commissaries are charging up to $1,200/Month. One of them lists over 50 food trucks using them. That's fkn good money lol. I'm actually thinking more about spending the money to start a commissary first before I even start my cart.
    Just to add to that I don't have the money to do that, gonna get my dog cart soon and go from there, but dang it's something to consider in the future.

      @@josephrudnicky1810 Since I posted this I found a shared commissary here in the Raleigh, NC area that charges me $250/Month for use.. there are several other street food venders (trucks and carts) that share it. Don't know about your area but it's approved for us here in NC. I'm ok with that for now, but I'm looking into building my own commissary in the future!

    In Florida's application, you cannot get inspected until. real Comissary fills out their part of the application, which has questions for them to answer that makes No sense. Yes, I can read!

      It's all stupid crap that lobbyists from the restaurant groups that get lawmakers
      to change laws to make it harder for vendors. It's all done intentionally.

    I need help finding a location. Ive been watching you for awhile now. I started Eazy's Street Food. Im licensed with my health department and insured with Flip and also got a business license. I work full time as a cook and that is also my commissary. They arent willing to work with my schedule so weekends are almost impossible for me to get off and that means events are out the door. Ive been looking for a location on a street here in Ellensburg Washington. Im offering chilli cheese dogs chilli cheese nachos, root beer floats, tacos, coffee, soda, chips, coffee. I have the flags and all my equipment like new im so anxious to get out there but i can't find a location i can afford..
