As an FSU fan, I like him alot. Mature beyond his age. His anticipation is elite for his age. And he does a good job of keeping his eyes down field when scrambling. There's college players that don't do that. Good accuracy too
His footage looks pretty good. He can scramble away from pressure pretty well and he’s got pretty good accuracy when he throws the ball and looks like he has decent running speed. The future of FSU football keeps looking brighter and brighter. I can’t wait for this season to start already. Go Noles!
I'm a Seminole! ❤ What i see from him as a sophomore. Definitely has to work more on his poise like show us you can be cool calm and collective in the pocket as you are looking down field going through your reads. 2.) Footwork that hop before releasing the ball don't know what that's called and how it benefits throwing the ball 🏈... Other than that so far what I see from the kid is good. I Remember watching A.D. McPherson in HS @ Southeast High(Bradenton , FL) A.D. in fact won Mr. Florida in football 🏈 and basketball 🏀. A.D. Was a dawg. @ this guy's age he took Southeast as a Sophomore to state to play against Miami Northwestern who @ that time had Antonio Brown who played WR for Dallas Cowboys

Arm strength is good, but it looks like he has a receiver in mind before the snap. Would be great if he could do some reads in Junior year.

I think i want him to redshirt when he gets to college. Like Jameis winston did. If all goes well FSU might have a superior elite class by then. FSU will need another big time pick up at reciever after hykeem by then. But man i cant wait to see how well hykeem can be in the next few years. That is the key thing is what weapons and what oline will fsu have in 2025.
