If you use a walking cart the Blue Tees are great. I use a carabineer and use the lanyard, so it is secure, because it has a magnet it attaches to the cart but because of the attachment to the lanyard it is secure over bumps.
I think you summarize the Blue Tees speaker really well. I understand the “you spent 200 on a speaker, why not spend a little extra each year” mentality, but I think you have to *really* like the Blue Tees app to make the whole thing worth it. I like my speaker, but unfortunately I like a different scoring/gps app on my phone better. I’ll be curious what they do to either improve this speaker/app experience, or what they’ll do to make their next gen model better. The screen with yardage view and scoring is fantastic, but there’s just some flaws that diminish the experience. That said, I loved the review of each of these speakers.
Any thoughts on or tests upcoming for the Wingman Mini? I’m starting my shopping and it popped up on my searches. It has the GPS function, and pairs with your phone and the Bushnell app. Thanks for a great overview of the options out there.
Purchased Wingman recently...LOVE it, except when playing music and you want distances, it doesn't dim the music...it accentuates the music AND the distances voice making it a rather garbled mess!?!?! Maybe there's a work-around...but I haven't found it yet.
I was hoping to find something with gps and pandora/music stand alone but I don't think it exists yet. I have the wingman view and I don’t like that I have to pair it to my phone to work.
I love seeing all these comments about the music on golf courses being loud enough to bother them. I have very rarely heard the group in front of me play music and I don’t get why you would care if you aren’t playing in the same group. If you are a golf shot away from someone you shouldn’t be able to hear their music anyway. It’s a non issue unless someone is being extra obnoxious. For fs liv golf plays music while tour pros hit 😂 give me a break
I am with the commenter below - music should be for the car on the way to the golf course, or if you have to, using headphones. I play golf to experience the outdoors, not somebody else's music.
Sure but some of us play music at non obnoxious levels along with easy going music that you'd never hear in your group. I'd definitely not want to play as a ride along solo or pair with obnoxious taste. Can't think of a round in the last two years where I didn't have some sort of soft ambient music going.
And on the bluetees you have to unlock your phone every single time to get your info & it's all on the phone & why bother going through the speaker, annoying that you have to unlock your phone every single time to get your yardage

Amazing job! I'm going to subscribe simply cause of your honest and easy to understand review!
Man that backdrop outside the window behind you is awesome. Where are you located? Love your videos bud!

I have the JBL Clip 4 and it's great! Has the built in carabiner so it clips to my bag or it fits in the cart well too

Music on the golf course? That's sick as hell.
Push cart recommendations?
Thank heavens no-one in England plays music on the golf course!
haha it certainly can be a divisive topic!
Thank goodness we have the freedom to play music on the course in the USA😂
That’s a GIANT word salad for hating FREEDOM and that your grandfather surrendered to mine at Yorktown
Tec tec has gps as well
TEAM8 has GPS feature which Bluetess and JBL don't have😀
FYI-Bushnell customer support if/when speaker quits does not exist! Try calling them!!!

This isn't true, you need to give the app permission to run in the background. The app leads you to this setting upon setup.
