I sure wish they could build that structure but I can't figure out how they could construct that huge ring so high up. That's an awful lot of overhang far from the pillars. They would have to work from both sides of a pillar to maintain balance and eventually have the sections of the ring to precisely meet up and join. It almost seems impossible to me. One tiny criticism. They want to use solar power to make hydrogen to power their air-conditioning? Why not use the solar power to run the air-conditioning directly and use the 66% of the energy they save that way to power desalinization for agriculture and drinking water? Hydrogen is not an energy source. It is only an extremely ineficient and dangerous way to store energy.
They should think more about the people who will live there and the tourists. Only the old souks and highways look alive, The buildings look static and abandoned without any soal. 😒 Also the costs of groceries and event parcs are too expensive. To build a city is one but when the people who should live there are not a factor in it its no use isnt it !? Look at the China theme cities, they do demolish them already. 😢
