Pakistan is not competing in the 2022 World Cup, but footballs made in the northeastern city of Sialkot are dominating the training field at the Fifa tournament in Qatar. Forward Sports has been working with Adidas AG for nearly 20 years, and is one of the two manufacturers of Adidas’ Al Rihla, the official 2022 World Cup ball.

@@homeaccount5206 It's not industry. They make cheap footballs there which are quite OK in quality. They are popular as they are cost effective. FIFA misuses funds if you know what I mean. Most officials have a history of taking bribe and/or gifts from decades. Pak workers who actually work at homes as families barely earn anything from this keeping in mind the present day cost hike and massive inflation.
