  • A possible route to your roots, if any of your ancestors were born or lived in Cape North, Victoria County, Nova Scotia, Canada.
The North Highlands Community Museum has been preserving and sharing local history since 1979. In 2003 the museum expanded to better serve the community. Professionally designed exhibits now tell the story of life in the North Highlands from the 1800's till now. Exciting stories of shipwrecks and adventure are housed here. They also have an extensive archives and genealogy centre. Finally, the museum provides other valuable resources to the community including public internet access, bathroom facilities, a gift shop and visitor information centre. Come see us to step back in time and experience the history of the Cape Breton Highlands.
