I've got a sample and I thought it was very average but it was only a sample. patchouli has to be immense for me to buy a bottle. That said, I just bought a vintage Krizia Moods. Get your nose on that if you can
Great review Pep. Unfortunately the patchouli rabbit hold doesn't just end at the cervix. It just keeps going, and going, and going, and going, and suddenly I feel like I'm in a battery commercial. Energize yourself. With patchouli.

I love this one, but you know that, Pep ;-) shame that they are changing the caps of the bottles to plastic silver plainish looking one, the original is nicer. I have both, because my bottle came with new one, but I blagged an old cap with my purchase :-D of course the juice is what really matters
Nice review. My most worn patchoulis are Coromandel and Santa Maria Novella. I added Patchouli Nobile to my collection in 2020. To me, it is distinguished by its resinous (labdanum) quality. It reminds me of the smell of import stores in the '60s and '70s. Really nice and exotic.

Thank you Chris. They are very different, Nicolai is a big aromatic retro thing, and the 1942 is understated dark actual patchouli dominant

Have you tried Mazzolari Lui? I've read it's one of the best in the genre
