    Great collection. I started off liking Echeverias only, but am now discovering that Pachyveria and Pachyphytum are so beautiful when they mature and have long stems...I like the potential of bonsai looks.

    Oh my God! That's how a compactum looks like when it matures??? Excited for my only one that survived. 😁

    Marija, thank you for the new series spotlighting various plants. You have given so much valuable info and suggestions that have helped me when I had problems with my succulents. Your recommendation about using the spider farmer lights was "spot on" and my plants are doing great.

    Your videos are always interesting and entertaining Marija, I really look forward to them . Thanks for sharing these plants and I hope you can get some sunshine even though it’s winter there. Cheers from OZ

    I love the moon stones. I have one. It’s hard to find different succulents where I live, so I cherish even a few. They are all doing well, growing and sprouting . A year ago when I started with succulents, I killed them with overwatering. I’ve learned a lot from your videos.

      Thank you! I think we all kill number of them before we learn to care better for them. Glad you have some of these cuties because they are such a joy to look at!

    I just got moonstones. Best advice out there I have seen so far. Thank you! I live in Ontario, Canada so our weather (being minutes away from Michigan) is quite similar. I am so worried about this new little addition to my plant babies. Growing under lights is excellent advice. I also have them in a South window. The stem is very thick. Lots of plush leaves. I have done so much research and will continue on my succulent growing journey. Again…..best advice I have seen so far.

      Thank you! Clearance plants are the best when before and after is dramatic and they recover. It is so much fun seeing progress in our plants!

    Hi Marija ! I do really love the bonsai look of your pachyphytum compactum ! It's so beautiful ! 😍I have also a pachyveria powder puff and a pachyphytum dr cornelius (still on my balkony and they seems to be ok, we have around 2 °C minimum those days). All these plants have really beautiful color. I've never seen the pachyveria blue belle before, it's gorgeous ! Thank you for sharing with us your beautiful plants and happy new year !

      Fungus is tough. Though sometimes I got it as a result of pests attacking plant. Hope you can save it! ❤️

    I had the same problem with my pink moonstone and murasaki. They grew very well outdoor in the summer time. Then I put them under grow lights in the winter, I noticed that the leaves around the growing points started to fall off. And there was some kind of sticky fluid coming out from there. I didn’t see any mealybugs or any kind of pests, the stems are still healthy. I wonder if the grow lights caused this.

    • @succulentlivingbymarija8872
      @succulentlivingbymarija8872  2 роки тому

      I doubt it’s lights. Whenever there is something sticky there us pests and some are so small they are not visible with our eyes.

      Did you figure it out what it was yet? I just chopped the heads of some of the amethystinum which made me felt very sad because the whole pot had a bonsai look. I also beheaded my murasaki. The new babies from the stem have the same problem, but the off set babh seems all right.

    Which is better to use rocks or soil I’ve seen people use one or the other.

    Hi Marijah , on a african milk tree rubra , do you think the light green at the top is lack of light . Or maybe sign of new growth ?

    • @succulentlivingbymarija8872
      @succulentlivingbymarija8872  Рік тому

      New growth is little lighter color at first, but if it’s smaller and stays greener it is definitely lack of light

      Hi Marijah , do hope your well . Hey do you think its better to propagate cactus in warm temperatures, example pups in the shade , but outside ? Its 100 degrees here in Boise , 80 in the shade . I'm having some that are not rooting . Mark

    • @succulentlivingbymarija8872

      @@markdale278 what I did this year and seemed the fastest is place under lights on the shelve cacti cuttings and after few weeks small roots appeared. No soil, no pot. Outside you can find spot that is dry, has light but not harsh sun and place the cutting in an empty plastic pot with holes. After tiny roots appear I place in soil, expose to sun like other cacti and start watering lightly.
