Jay, this New Eternia line continues to whoop on the Classics. They keep replacing my Classics.
He looks fantastic! I think I will display him with his armour on, otherwise all my Whiplash figures will look the same.
It certainly is an honest opinion and that's to be admired, but I believe the art is being done by Eamon O'Donoghue, and I personally think he does an amazing job

From my behalf, the should send you every figure and playset, as long as you always keep it honest, -the goods and the bada- as you said.
In the end, actually, I think we all hope the goods always overwhelm the bads, but you know…

This has to be one of my highlight reviews of 2023 and were only in May..🌞. Always adored Whiplash so this fig ticks all the boxes..
Jay i really would love to hear you mention Count Marzo on a stream. He's my no1 for Origins or Masterverse. Also Multi Bot, Damon, Darkdream toon or comic style...🙏🇬🇧🍻🍻🍻
Very LOTR. The armored look is perfect for a general, an unarmored versions could be perfect for army building.

I'm just going to start copy and pasting on th ese Whiplash reviews (which I can't stop watching because he looks so amazing): Need extras for customizing but also with this better look at the head sculpt I think I like this head sculpt better than the Vintage and Classics head sculpts.
Damn what a shame about the limited knee articulation! He looks silly like this- too squat and bow legged. It could’ve been perfect but they screwed it up!
Great review Jay but I still prefer Classics still can't beat 4 Horsemen sculpts.
This figure looks great! The original just looked derpy… even as a kid. He wasn’t as cool as, like, Jitsu or Webstor. They made him amazing for Masterverse!
Definitely was going to get one for the classic look but after watching the review I think I’ll get two so I can have both versions displayed. Both versions look great.

I would think if you just spin the shoulders his arms should go above his head no problem, no?
I tried, but the bicep movement doesn’t Go far enough to allow that to happen

The armor looks great in the video, I thought he looked better without the new items in the promo pics, But seeing the video ? totally changed my mind, it looks more amazing with the extra armor and weapons, Weird thing is, that figure was not shown on an official release chart, So where did you get yours ?
He was in the entire list of figures revealed earlier this year when Mattel had that special reveal day.

Interesting. Wasn't super fond of the armor at first but it's cool that once it's all taken off, you go back to the classic Whiplash look.
Great video. Can’t wait to get this figure! And to be fair, a lot of big muscle guys can’t raise their arms above their shoulders either.
The armor's a nice bonus to have, but it's a missed opportunity not to have designed it in more of a brute, oversized buck. At the same standing height with he-man, he looks less menacing than he could have been.
For a line that, just like the '80s original, is built on reuse of everything including bucks, I'm not surprised they didn't go with a new buck for just this one figure. I personally hope that they go with a new larger body when they get to motherboard but I'm not broken up by the fact that they didn't do a larger buck for this guy.
Any chance you do a video looking at the major issues international fans have with getting this line.
The fact our orders are cancelled to stock American discount stores where as our only option is specialist stores or online imports
we still pay full price if by a miracle a figure gets over here is insane. Figures are going for dollars in places like target where as on average were paying £30+ for origins and £45+ for revelations.
I have friends in Europe and I know how tough it is to get US collectible figures across the board. I can try to find an answer.
