The snare outfits look like the Burger King king itself
UnKnown TeMpO did you seriously just misgender the Burger King HIMSELF?
Front ensemble was flaming this year, how did i miss this....
Shoutout to the Quads for keeping character the entire time. I know damn well I couldn't smile that long
Side note: GREAT Quad mallet choice
Their 2 tenor players are so good jeez
@@jagshemash9595 Got one recorded, will be uploaded once I get an issue with my gopro worked out!
Dartmouth has always seemed to have complete creative freedom and backing from the district or some really good booster programs lmao these kids are so lucky to go through a wonderful program and allowed to show their true talent as performers! Go Dartmouth!
Marimba solo into libertango is insane
I gotta admit, I kinda like how it looks matched. At least with these guys
Imagine maintaining a smile for that long
Yeah but we had to do an even bigger and longer smile for Out of the box so yeah
4:20 Those tenor shots give me lots of happiness
That marimba solo had me SHOOK
2018 show was so good it shows this up so hard
i hate that no one is talking about the marimba solo, that was actually pretty good
Such a weird show to me but wholly crap they are so talented
our winter guard stole ur props for this year lol
Chino and them both tackling addiction this year. Just different kinds.
Exactly what I was thinking, chino's was a bit more serious imo but dartmouth still did a great job
Ok can we stop shorting Chino Hills to just Chino. Chino is an entirely different school.
BrothaNBlue THANK YOU. they are different schools. Chino High School is super talented as well to be fair.
@@tonyryan5197 Yes, I remember they used to be a regular PSW finalist for a while. What happened to them?
Sick accelerando
Wow i love the pit writing
Lol and the twist of the libertango solo for marimba
marimba solo was CLEAN
The 3’s my dudes, the 3’s.
i get the costumes for front, snares, and tenors, but what are the base drums supposed to be?
Kloe Scott They had over garments that went over what they’re wearing now that made them look like cards.
Tots=people who say match grip is weird
I get it. It’s a cards show. 2 jokers in a deck, four kings, and the pit are in suits. I’m slow.
its ua-cam.com/video/bESGLojNYSo/v-deo.html&ab_channel=LadyGagaVEVO SO GOOD!
This pit plays some of the hardest material I've ever seen....
alright whos gonna be the first person to hate on matched grip snare drums lol
So this school isn't too far from where i grew up and i know someone who teaches here. I think the reasoning behind them all using matched is so when people graduate its easier to elevate the tenors to take the snare spot without them having to learn traditional and possibly sacrificing cleanliness/technique.
They literally played libertango
Was everything (except the part where the guy pushes down the props and says he’s done) beyond 6:07 added in later in the season? My friends and I don’t remember seeing it in the first competition
Whiplash I think a lot of it was there first show, I didn’t remember the poker face dancing at the first comp at Dartmouth though 😂
all of this was here at the beginning, just some minor adjustments!!
Will Hardy the singing of poker face wasn’t at the first show because our electronics broke.
Someone knows where I could get the tenors shirt the red and black triangle shirt
Isn’t double traditional still technically a “matched” grip? Asking for a friend
Jorgè Lopez no. Matched means both hands are the same I.e. they "match"
Patrick Ahearn but two traditional grip hands would be the same soooooo.... yes
@@nathalieahearn6403 hi patrick. Dartmouth is good AF. I keep coming back to watch them.
Awesome you will be ready for dci no problem great job
You know these kids get made fun of so much
@@southernrailwayfan1338 ok so question. If you were to design your own show that wasn't "weird", what would you do?
I think either those marimbas are set a little too high, or the players are way too close to their instruments
what are those faces
Why is the snare didn't use traditional grip?
It’s easier teach younger kids matched grip because its an easier and better technique to learn because in traditional the left hand can be very hard to get chops on, and because they have matched they have the ability to play every instrument from basses to tenors because they kept matched grip
First!
2 Jokers In a deck.. nice touch.
DAMNN DEEEP
Also 4 kings
