Having watched this for the first time in multi-cam, I now look back and see how brilliant the camera shot at 6:05 is. The showman perfectly hides the gap between the two signs when the tenors walk in.
Aught, but anyone else notice the quads had to walk walk up the ramp on stilts after the show? You can literally see one start going up the ramp at the end of the video
our high school line met these guys in MS.. great group!! when we saw them again in Dayton they welcomed our kids with open arms (since we have never been there before)... loved your show and thanks for taking time out of your day to acknowledge our kids..
@@willydrummerchs1017 We came back into WGI last season! We lost a lot of participants and went into standstill for 2 years (we didn't do it for one year between the standstills). We are trying to revive what we did in 2013, however with the departure of the head of drumline, it may be uncertain if we will!
@@willydrummerchs1017 Update: We only had a Winds show this year, but the head of drumline is coming back next season as his father will be retiring at the end of this year teaching 41 years at Father Ryan. I really won't know what's going to happen as I will be graduating in a month and going to college soon, unless they go Independent like they did in 2009. Still have high hopes for the program.

The fact that this show wasn’t top 5 just goes to show world class groups don’t play around XD I genuinely wished this group was at least in the top 5 but in my heart it was definitely 1st place. Though I think what makes this show more appealing in the multi cam view. Sure watching it live is fucking fantastic but once you see the smaller details and just how the multiple cams really showcase each feature just shows they put a lot of thought into the show in both performance and a bit of cinematography (I think that’s the correct term?). It’s like this entire set piece was meant to be on a real movie set and this is like how if the film had one crazy as WGI ensemble! 10/10 in my books and definitely many others! 💕💕

Besides Music City Mystique, this was the BEST SHOW OF 2019. Father Ryan's 2013 show is still the best overall!
What DID happen to father Ryan? Do they still have a WGI line?
