  • How do Extreme Plate Boats handle in rough water? Well see for yourself in this video.
Extreme plate boats are one of the best-designed plate boats money can buy. Not only to the look great and perform beautify, they handle like no other plate boat.
The combination of the wide water line beam, down turn chines and the 21 degree dead rise, not only allow for a dry ride but also keep you super stable even in the rough stuff.
We put the 645 and 745 Game King to the test out in the rough on Andersons Inlet, Inverloch.

I’m surprised at all the negative criticism. Of course it’s not normal to drive so fast in these conditions but it’s good to see how the boat handles it in my opinion. I’m tired of videos that show aluminum boats going 50 knots on flat calm weather... that tells me nothing.

Yes but don't be fooled and go do this. Boat test in calm water is actually very important because u can tell how your boat actually ride. For example if your boat has a natural lean in its design you can see it. U can't see that in rough conditions can you? Another example is torque steer. Turning in calm water u can tell of your boat favour left or right hand turns. If its natural seating flat and going straight. Like a car in a smooth road u can see all its characteristics. Also like a car u only need bumps to test its suspension same with a boat. U don't go buy a 100k just for its suspension do you?

Good to see the boat being put through it's paces on rough water and being treated roughly. I would love to see all manufacturers do that. I know you dont drive a boat like that but good to know that it can take it, and good to see where the water goes on splash down etc. Good AD! (PS music is annoying!!)

Damn that boat came down hard. You can tell how the hull just comes to an almost standstill when hitting the water.

That's a hard no for me I don't like the way this boat goes flying so easily I prefer a quarter inch all around heavier plate boat.. the sea is super calm compared to here on the west coast..

Keep the prop in the water or risk damaging it.

Heh, you'll be dry while you wait for a tow. Hell on a motor to keep pulling the prop out of the water.

Seriously who drive their boat like that in open water? I got 6.2 yellowfin alloy and tell u what i cant do that in 2m swell out in the open. Top speed is 40km according to gps. Deep v for soft ride i understand but who would seriously go full speed out in the open? What if you nose dive into the next wave? For bar crossing you only want enough speed to clean over the bar not fly over it. All these companies are misleading the general public. They do make good boats but please dont be misleading. Ive seen ppl with brand new boats trying to do this and fail in mid bar crossing.

I totally agree with you, it may be OK for a couple of jumps. But, if keep doing it, you back and knee joints will be fuxxed.

Just a normal promo vid displaying how the boat handles in worst conditions/operation.

    • @villagevillage2400

Even if you nose-dived I would have thought you'd be OK judging by the shape of the bow and foredeck - unless the wave was so big, you hit it at such a speed and/or it was actually starting to break down on the windscreen

@@villagevillage2400 my point is that this sort of promo is misleading and dangerous. Was just using nose dive as an example. So that being said, I rather a boat with more beam for stability. Or somewhere in the middle. If you are after a new boat. Don't take this as a buying point is all I'm saying to you. Go out there and test them yourself and see what u like. What's suits your fishing style where you fish. Extreme are nice boats. I mean the welds on them are finish to a high standards. My cousin has one and if they are so expensive I would have bought one. I got nothing against Extreme or bar crusher or alike. I just have problem with how they promote their products.

Beating the hell out of this boat and your self isn't going to help you sell it. Honestly I m with the last guy who mentioned it too. Nobody drives a boat like that in rough weather and sea's. Just plain stupid
