why do this if it removes color, I always thougt colored stone were more sought after. Im a bit confused about this

Traditional treatment can removing some blue color of ruby and some of srilanka stone we are giving heated treatment for getting more colors
It seems all stones are heated...the unheated untreated concept seems fake
