Satsangs Very important these days!!!! Some spiritual group we may join,celebrate, contribute,move ahead bashing our stress!!! I too belong to a group. Young age is easy to get connected easily as you say,old age can be crossed easily with such connection n expansion of mind with the satsang. Skills improve ,creativity dawns n so much. If you keep one step ahead,rest follows,as you say.
