Thanks so much Danny, for showing us around Israel, I love your videos....and, if you look up Luke 23,50, you will see, that Joseph of Arimathia was a rich man and part of the Sanhedrin! God bless you!

@@danny.the.digger Danny, I looked up "Parakalo". You are truly a remarkable man. It would be so easy for you to read and then move from there but instead you gave me another word that has relevant meaning. In the Lord, I appreciate you!
Shalom Danny! Mrs Bez here. What another great vlog!!! So nice to see the green grass and poppies, too! There is no place like Yisrael!! Good job on scanning the tombs with your camera. I so appreciate seeing what a 1st Century tomb would look like and it's "cork". Are you aware that Yeshua is titled as a High Priest by a Jewish author written to Jewish believers? I recall you stated in a previous chapter the titled of Yeshua as "King of the Jews". Which tomb would have held Yeshua, King of the Jews and also High Priest? Following is a portion from Hebrews 4 in the Brit Chadesha about Yeshua, the high priest: "14Therefore since we have a great high priest, who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathise with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are, yet without sin." Keep digging!!!
Excellent Vlog. It Clarifies a lot of things . I contributed to your paypal , its worth every dollar . Keep up the good work! And thanks for the enlightenment on these various historical biblical sites!
Thank you so much for these very interesting videos AND comments on the roads to Emmaus! Have been trying to donate bur each time message error ?! Will try again later. Greetings from Switzerland
1:58 Oh my friend, He did the furthest thing from stay quiet-- "And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself." (Luke 24:27) Also, I did a humble short film about this about this about seven years ago that you can see on my channel.
I am impressed that post crucifixion the gospels pull back, like at the tomb, where everyday life has to resume for those so dramatically changed by Jesus. Would it be fitting for the two described by Luke to be a married couple deep in conversation as they were returning to their home in Emmaus?
Danny, ask Erick to mention your terrific Vlog on his daily show 'The Watchman'. With his almost half a million subscribers (in just a short time) just mentioning you and in doing so letting his viewers know your 'site on UA-cam' and anywhere else.
2 “If’s”. If Matthew was listing Mary’s genealogy and If Joseph of arimathea was Mary’s uncle they would’ve been related to uzziah which could explain a lot about how and why he was able to acquire the garden tomb for Jesus. And Joseph was a member of the high council or Sanhedrin
How would Mary and Mary get into the tomb to add the perfumes to Jesus body, with a tomb so small? It also says that the Sudarium was folded and laid where Jesus had been.
1:41 Nothing in Luke about two “men” in particular. Luke 24:13 “Two of them…” (“dyo ex auton” - Greek) - Since one of them was named Cleopas (Luke 24:18), the other was likely his wife Mary of Clopas.😊
Great presentation. But a small correction: Jesus appeared first to Mary Magdalene, to the women going at the tomb and then to his followers going to Emmaus. I think the significance of those appearances are the reason they are included in the Gospel of Luke, because Jesus chose to reveal the biggest event in history to the women (women were basically second class citizens, barely above slaves and their word wasn’t valued much) and to two random followers that weren’t of the core 12 but members of a broader group.
Not sure what you meant when you said Jesus remained quiet on the road to Emmaus because he talked the whole way explaining all the scriptures concerning Himself. He did not introduce himself and apparently His voice and appearance was different enough for them to not realize it was Him until after He broke the bread and blessed it. Maybe He had a certain way of breaking the bread and a certain way of blessing it, that made them realize it was Him as He at the same time "opened" their eyes or their understanding to the fact that this know it all guy was actually Him. Jesus really has a sense of humor, even while teaching us.
It wasn't Joseph that sealed it, but the Romans sealed the tomb by request of the Priest of the Jews because of the prophesy that he would rise again on the third day. This shows that the High Priest really knew when he said destroy this temple and I will raise it up in three days, that he was speaking of his body. But they accused him of saying would rebuild the Temple that Herod built in three days.
On the walk jesus did not stay quiet he explained what was accomplished by his death and only when he broke bread and gave the blessing did they recognize Christ.
THANKS A LOT BUT PLEASE BE CAREFUL NOT TO MISLEAD 🙈🙈🙏🙏🙏EVEN JESUS WARNS TAKE HEED THAT NO ONE DECIEVE YOU.. TOMB OF JESUS IS NOT SMALL BECAUSE JOHN AND PETER WENT IN AND SAE HI S LINEN. @Danny The Digger / Tour Guide Israel How tall would you say was Jesus's height?
I honestly have no clue , but I can guess that if he was exceptionally short or tall the scriptures would reflect it.
The hat is perfect Danny! But instead of a drone, why not get a bullwhip and a revolver on your hip. Then you can be our Indiana Jones.😀 Much respect!

It’s all indeed educated guesses..
How would Mary and Mary get into the tomb to add the perfumes to Jesus body, with a tomb so small?
It also says that the Sudarium was folded and laid where Jesus had been.
3-4 people can enter it, as they do today..
It seems Ike this is the real one ❤
Actually the 2 disciples where on the road or walking on the way to Emmaus .. so not necessarily in Emmaus. 🤔
“On the way to Emmaus”. Indeed.

The problem is we have 4 official versions.. and they don’t really match..

He spoke, but didn’t say he is the one.. that’s what I meant..

You say that 2 men were walking. The Bible says that it was 2 disciples and the one unnamed could be the wife of Cleopas. Food for thought. God Bless
Sorry, not 2 disciples but 2 of them were going.
Exactly..
On the walk jesus did not stay quiet he explained what was accomplished by his death and only when he broke bread and gave the blessing did they recognize Christ.
You are right! I was trying to over dramatize the story.. my mistake 🤦♂️

Compared to the tomb of the kings , the tombs in the kidron, the tomb of Herod, it is was small. Small is a relative term.

Hi Danny. I find your vlog is spoiled a lot when you use God's (OMG) name as a proclamation from time to time. Breaking the 3rd commandment is not a good thing as we all know. Please think about this. Thankyou.
So God’s name is God ?
Don't be silly. Read St.Thomas Aquinas on it 1a13 (On the name of God) and know the mind of God (1 Corinthians 2:16)
God is not a name. It’s a noun, or an adjective. People worship a god, not god, and every religion gives its God a different name.
