There are two versions. The UV-25 and the UV-25 Pro Max. The second on has a scramble option in the menu and airband. Inside this bendable antenna is a very thin antenna like the Signal stick.
Thanks for a nice video! Could you please tell us what is your Uv25 radios firmware and hardware version? Also if you key8 while powering up radio screen, should show receiver chip name? Thanks
Are the Baofeng models with GPS available in the UK. The UV-17 PRO GPS, and the UV-18 PRO MAX are hard to find across the pond. I hope that you have the opportunity to test one of these models.
Hand held use of a radio over 5 W would exceed the RF exposure limits in the US. 10W radios should be used with a mobile antenna attached to a vehicle.
It’s a beast for sure. Got mine from China a month ago. Unreal what quality for the price.
That’s awesome! Just bought that monster Baofeng 25! I have its little brothers and sisters!

I'm curios also. I have two UV25 radios and one shows V0.03 and other 0.06.
Great video, thank you.
Thank you for the review. Watching from Marudi Sarawak

Ehhehehehe shut up sad ham
its a shame they arent making them in green. it would surely sell like crazy for the LARPing aspect.
When the PLA invades Australia, at least we'll know what comms they are using 😅
What software do you use to create your .stl files in?
what is the SDR software you are using?
Have you tested the 50 watt? Is there much difference? I'm asking before i buy this device.
?

Only thing I didnt like is the silver knob and speaker grill. Matte black would look way better
They make it look like the old Motorola radios from the 70s, which makes it look nostalgic.
Wow thanks!!!!
Qual a distância em km de operação em linha aberta?

Where are you buying it from ? I checked Radiodity and Amazon and not on either.
Aliexpress
Radioddity and Amazon has the UV-25 now!
Mmmm, not impressed. Would like to see a VNA sweep of that stock antenna.
Watch the first video
9.6w
The difference between 5w and 10w is only 3db so not worth it.
