Mind blown! I’ve been in education for over 25 years, though mostly math and science. I’m brushing up on my ELA and binge watching all of your videos in hopes of being your clone. I never gave much thought to how paragraphs look different in each genre of writing. Im not sure I even KNOW the rules or conventions of paragraph writing. ….Always something to learn!

I'm going to be teaching a remedial 8th grade ELA class this year. I've never taught that before. Do you know of resources similar to this that geared towards Middle School?
I am 5th grade and my team is jumping right into informational writing and not doing narrative until the end, so I don't see how we can avoid jumping into paragraph writing.
