    Im working on this mod for my 97.
    Other than the holes for the HVAC did you modify the cowl?
    Do you have any pictures/ video of The modifications you made to the dash ie of the mounts, aluminum block, the top 4 bolts to the fire wall?
    I'm tempted to go back and cut the firewall out of the escalade.

    Me and my uncle are doing the same to his truck I was wondering if the dash needs to be cut by windshield side or if it’s good as is we got a 2001 Chevy Silverado dash hopefully I hear back….. nice project keep up the good work

      yes dash needs to be cut and welded left and right side I customized the firewall and added brackets on the inside of the card to support the new dash also modified the dash customize, the aluminum block of metal under the new dash also added brackets and nuts, so I can mount the new dash

    I know this is an older video man but id appreciate it if you could tell me if you cut the plastic pieces of the dash ik you made brackets

      @@blaingrover7620 yes I cut a lot of parts mainly just trim . Trim the dash pad area where the window glass is. Modified and cut the aluminum bracket under the dash made passenger and driver side brackets to hold the new dash also had to modify the cab cut and trim areas were pinched welds were at. Also keep in mind dash does not fit well with original door panels and doors I had to modify the doors as well . I will be making a new video soon updating and finishing up the truck
