In Exodus 19:6 God declares He will make Israel a nation of priest, a Holy People and this is restated in 1 Peter 2:9. Is Israel a nation of priest? First we would look at what is a priest; they teach you about God. Simple enough to understand; did they fail in this mission? When the war between Russia and Ukraine started, nobody got out their bible to look to see if this fulfills prophecy because God does not work through Russia or Ukraine to show Himself as God. However; when Israel declared everyone opened their bible, pastors began speculating on which prophecy was being fulfilled. If not for God using Israel, we would be lost. Israel was partially blinded, so we can watch God fulfill all things through this tiny nation, of His choosing; to see that He is God. I've agreed with Bill Salus' interpretation of this passage in Jeremiah 49:34-39 about Elam and breaking its bow for many years now! I believe in an interview with Gary Stearman that he also said that if Israel has anything to do with the destruction of Iran's nuclear program that Iran aka as Persia will authorize Hezbollah to shoot their 150,000 missiles at Israel. But when God helps Israel win this war (Psalms 83) perhaps just having begun, it will show the world that the Jews' God (as it states in Psalm 83:18) "art the most high over all the earth". I'm just wondering if God will have Jesus rapture His Bride before we see the end of that war or allow us to see it fulfilled before we're caught up ("harpazoed")!
