I called Subaru to order a new fuel filter for a 2015 Outback with 116,000 miles. The Maintaince Schedule shows to replace the fuel filter at 74K miles. Subaru dealer said they never sold the part. This means they never installed it for a customer. So a bad fuel filter will cause a lean fuel mix causing pollution.
