I had heard of them - and something with them - but I came quickly. away again when I heard Tarja's vibrating opera voice. And then I did not want to hear from them anymore. But by chance I then many years later heard a live version of Ghost Love Score with Floor. And then I was sold. It hit something completely different than in my ears Tarja's cold insensitive classic vibrato style.
I like how you say it's ALMOST symphonic metal to the band the quite literally was one of the founders of that musical style. It's like saying "Well that's ALMOST house music" about Daft Punk. xD
This particular piece is less symphonic than others. Song of Myself is more in that genre, and if you go back to the Tarja stuff, that's where their symphonic origins lie. Since this is their first exposure to Nightwish (still at a loss as to how, but whatev), they're jumping in with more of a power metal piece instead of the truly symphonic stuff. Floor's era in particular really runs the gamut from power to symphonic to borderline Metallica-esque heavy stuff because of her range and power.
And now you decided to do this channel split. I just re-watched all your Nightwish reactions few weeks ago. Well, I guess I just need to watch them again 😂

I was wondering is it not possible to move videos from your main channel to your sub channel without losing views or likes? I could be wrong but I'm sure I've seen this done. I remember Jim Browning (scam buster) got tricked into moving all his videos into a scammers account by someone pretending to be from youtube, but otherwise that process is legit.
