buying a car in thailand

so had a day out buying a car in thailand
now i will say this from the start this is my experience of buying a car others might have a different experience
so we start buy looking round on various sites but the one i chose was on the baht and sold site, its descriptions normally in english so it was pretty straight forward getting the info
after contacting the guy who was selling the car and i was pleased about the info i decided to go have a viewing
now this car was over 200 kms from me so there was 4 of us that made the journey to tat phanom were it was like a day trip going there with a couple of stops on the way
when e
we got to see the car i was suprised it was in very good condition and after a good inspection and i long test drive i decided to buy
so this car had finance outstanding and for me to get the blue book the finance had to be paid off, but i must say it went smoothly
first of all pay for car then the owner went with us to pay finance off then we got the blue book, then it was off to licensing place to get the names changed in the blue book
the whole process was done in a few hours with no problem
then it was a matter of saying bye to the previous owner and set off on our little journey back home
as i said it was like a day out and i was very pleased with the car on the journey back
now this was a second hand car and we paid cash
its very different buying a new car or taking finance on a vehicle whether it be a bike or car
