I fought my 70 gto and even cut a spring a quater spring to find out my garage and driveway isn't level. So now my gto is higher driver side till I get in it.
That's what Doug thought, but we checked it on multiple surfaces. Then we took the Drivers side apart and I tried to reposition the spring and it made it worse. After dicking around with it, I finally realized that I had not gotten the spring seated in the perch correctly; and as a result, the positioning cup which sticks out and goes inside the top of the spring was deformed by my initial mispositioning. So I need to take it apart again and try to reshape that guide so the spring can slide over and around it again. That should fix the problem. I'll most likely be doing that tomorrow and post an update as to wether or not that fixed it. Thanks for your input and for watching!
