Hi Juan, thank you very much for your comment much appreciated, truly. I don't take reactions because I give so much of my time for free with little to no reward. People find it hard to even treat me to a virtual cup of coffee - imagine that 😂🤦🏽♀️. So I play my own stuff which is good that's why people watch. You may know this but this song is from an album that was used to design a compilation of short stories for a film done in 2012. It’s a genius film. Some light songs and some heavy. I was taken in by her acting as well as singing.

@@gabrielamontenegro381 Hello this film was made following the project mademoiselle zhivago it had to be released on the screens at the time but Lara refused finding that the film did not conform to what we had told her, it is the first time that I did disagreed with her 🤨 for me it's real success and I was very happy to find this film on youtube😁

I love this song! Her voice has a little more fragile timbre which I like in this song. As you mentioned, the arrangement is superb and only the stringsection is worth to listen to alone. Such class from top to toe.

I'm so glad you picked the performance from the official concert. There are a couple of other performances but she had to lip sync, it's a weird thing Russia makes singers do. It's a true shame to not let someone of Lara's caliber sing live. But anyway, this always makes me think about, how big of a voice and a soul one has to have in order to stand out against a monster orchestra and choir like that. It's an extraordinary concert. I found a copy of it, along with the CD, on French Amazon. It's incredible to watch and hear in full quality.

In the UK it's Guy Fawkes night - Guy Fawkes wanted to blow up the Houses of Parliament in 1605 - called the Gunpowder Plot so fireworks are going off everywhere. My cat isn't too pleased, so she is laying on my bed listening to Classical Music 😂🤦🏽♀️. Luckily we have thick double glazed windows so can hardly hear anything. @@elizabethwhite1068 Basically Guy Fawkes and his men were actually caught before they tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament and Kill King James 1st much to the relief of the British People. Guy Fawkes was Spanish I believe but lived in York. So to celebrate, being caught before his intended destruction, the Brits celebrated by having Bon Fires in which they burned effigies of Guy Fawkes and his men on the 5th November - but obviously as time has progressed we now have Fireworks. 🙋🏽♀️
@@psycheinc-theSLC Oh so celebrating the failure of the plot, ok. I can't remember what show it was offhand, but I did see the whole thing dramatized. It was pretty intense. Last night I watched the new Amazon show about the British artist Louis Wain. "The Electric Life of Louis Wain" and his cats. It was really good, and especially so for us cat lovers, I highly recommend it.

The harmonic structure he put together is a combination of romantic classic music in late 19th century and composition style done by Shostakovich 50 years later. Igor is a true master.

Dimash, who follows Lara'career, also sings this song excellently. What I like about both of them is that, in the instrumental parts if the songs, they continue to act ( with their body and the expression on their faces) never get out of the character. By the way, how nice is to hear Lara's french accent, un "moulin rouge".
I seem to be in the minority. Though she is a wonderful singer, I'm not moved by her voice. I find it often piercing and I don't understand many of her words as in this song. Her mannerisms also annoy me.
