I think Fenty needs to redo their eyeshadow formula. It’s so lackluster and that’s not acceptable when they price is higher end. Urban Decay gets a lot of hate. I don’t love all the eyeshadow palettes they release, but some of their palettes are always best sellers at Sephora and ULTA. Not everyone wants super shiny and rainbow eyeshadow or they can’t wear those to work so they got for the muted colors and neutrals that UD offers in an easier to work with formula. Also some people have aging eyes and they don’t want top highlight texture so they go for softer shimmers. Just because the beauty community doesn’t like something it doesn’t mean the wider market dislikes it also.
I find keeping a makeup wishlist really helps me avoid purchases I don't really want/need. Anytime I see anything I like I add it to the wishlist....usually by the time I check it a week later, I've already forgotten about most of the items! So I only buy the ones I constantly keep thinking about 💞
Though I'm often tempted by gorgeous unique shades, I'm definitely on team "spend more money on staple palette." Like I'd rather spend more on the perfect pair of everyday pants than a NYE dress.

I did but some of the pallets on this but I’ll also admit i only bought them on an extreme sale, example: the kkw pallet is amazing and i got it for 10 dollars so it was a steel, the Natasha Denona circo loco i got at 70% off so that also was a steel..i think i love that you created strong rules for yourself to truly get value and that’s one thing i have learned from watching your videos that is key
Colourpop’s releases in 2019 and 2020 were so insane that I very quickly tuned out of them in 2021. In 2020 I bought 10 CP palettes and in 2021 I only bought 1 (the mandalorian one). I’m glad I didn’t give into the hype for most of their releases last year, but one I was seriously considering was the Lust for Dusk palette. Tbh it’s still lingering in my mind so maybe I’ll get it the next time they have a sale haha
I live in the UK, so I will ONLY do one CP order and when it's on sale. Now I noticed the threshold for international shipping has gone up. After filling up I realised it was junk that I would forget. So I didn't get it
I admit I bought the Its a Mood , Smoke N Roses, and the last Rose collection and I am so happy with them. Especially the Rose collection. The Super Shick blushes and eyeshadow are just beautiful. The other palette I want is Of Quartz. I haven't bought it yet but I probably will. I'd rather buy from Colourpop knowing the quality is very good and not overly prices then a more expensive brand that has the same color story but the cost is insane
I buy all my palettes on sale at the end of the year. I splurged on a 40% sale on a couple huda palettes I’d been eyeing for several years. I wait for the deals. 😍
I totally regret not getting Tati’s palette. After your comments I looked up the Vanity palette, it’s pretty but just can’t justify the price. Love your videos and always like to hear your opinions before shopping. Happy New Year!

Lol I grab my ND circo loco for my colorful palette and the vanity palette all the time for my perfect neutral I love them both !! Maybe try it when on sale for sure like I did …worth it ! 💗 I save up for her palettes now rather then buying all the other drugstore ones that add up to ND palette anyways if you think of it … the quality and no creasing on my hooded eyes can’t be beat ! Hope you are having a happy 2022 !! ❤️
I bought 9 palettes last year which for me is kind of a lot. There are only a couple that I maybe should have passed but they were really inexpensive (Profusion). But what I will probably do going forward is check out palettes in person either at Ulta or someplace else if possible. I think online pictures can be really deceiving. Plus I just discovered that palettes sometimes show up at TJ Maxx and Marshalls so I might just visit here and there to see what they have. I am only drawn to a small handful of brands though (BH, CP, Sydney Grace, Profusion), so I will consider myself lucky in that regard. Some of the more popular brands (ND, Pat McGrath, ABH, and others) I am not remotely interested in. There were quite a few palettes that I was considering last year that I didn't get and I am really glad about it now I have enough eyeshadow anyway. Great video!
Hello! Happy New Year! I do not have a big collection at all and really have to budget my money. I am willing to pay a little more when it is something that I know is going to be worth it, I would get a lot of use, and that I would LOVE and would be happy (no regrets) to purchase and own. Like the ND Glam palette. I paid full price for that ($64 was it?) And felt that my money was/is well spent. 💗💜💚
i get so happy when i see that you’ve uploaded a video!!! your eyes look so pretty!!! girl, you could make ANY EYESHADOW WORK!!! i actually still want the melt brunet palette and allllll of the reviews have been quite awesome. i want to collect all of natasha’s palettes because they’re soooo beautiful and i always hear how amazing they are. the kkw camo palette was the only kkw product to ever catch my eye, but i heard that it didn’t perform well at all. i laugh just thinking of the price for the hourglass palettes!!! the vanity makeup palette looks soooo gorgeous and it’s received nothing but rave reviews. if i had this palette i would make a point of using it constantly. the abh primrose palette didn’t catch my attention at all. you dodged a bullet by not getting the fenty palette. they need to step their formula up. colourpop needs to slowwww down!!! it’s so overwhelming. the gone matte palette actually interests me a lot. urban decay didn’t do prince any justice, and that release was beyond disappointing. i would still love to own a naked palette someday. sending you virtual hugs and kisses. 🤗♥️😘
I decided to not buy palettes right away, to wait a lil over a month and if I’m still wanting ‘em then I get ‘em, but I’ve come to the realization that 90% of the time I’m over them and they basically look very similar to the palettes I already own. This help me save money lol
Yes it's so true! I really try not to impulse buy any longer because I tend to forget about new releases once the hype dies down. I need to implement your rule about similar palettes this year because I have too many at this point!
I got the KKW Camo pallete when it was on super sale before she shut down her website. I’m actually surprised by the quality and I love the color story.

I ended up buying the Vanity Beauty palette when it was on sale during the holidays and it is absolutely beautiful. I’ve used every shade and it’s worth every penny. Blends like a dream!!
I’m with you on ColourPop needing to slow down. I work at Ulta and I feel like every week there is a new palette by them, and I hate to say it but the quality in some of them has been a little disappointing. I think that is because they are just pushing out way too much way too fast. Hope your New Year is starting off great and that 2022 is amazing for you 💜
There are so many repeat shadows in CP palettes that I lose interest quickly. I’m so tired of the same rusty oranges and browns, in all palettes. I learned this year that what trips me up with palettes are the beautiful colors. So, I remind myself that although a palette has some stunning colors, I don’t necessarily want to wear it as an eyeshadow. I am on the hunt for a “perfect” neutrals palette that I can wear every day. I have a light tan skin tone, so I need great pigmentation. What quiets the FOMO voices for me is waiting. It stops bad impulse purchases, and helps me realize that I don’t need/want it. I am at the point that all I want are smaller palettes or really beautiful, rich single colors to complement my eye color. I LOVE the content on your channel! You’re smart and beautiful and I value your opinion.
I'm glad I didn't buy the Patrick Ta palette because I just want to get use out of what I have. I may pick it up one day but I know I don't need it atm. Love seeing what you're glad you skipped over. I have the same hopes for colourpop & urban decay lol
The abh primrose palette is really good, I was excited that abh released a palette again. They are still some of my faves. I picked up the KKW palette when she had it for $12 and it’s pretty good. As for the mini metropolis I think the shimmers are good but I don’t love the undertone of the dark brown with that yellow matte in the palette

I've been on a no/low buy so I really have not picked up many palettes in the last couple of years. The only one that is really tempting me is the Patrick ta Major Dimensions palette. It just looks so stunning and I know I would use every shadow in it, but I have a hard time shelling out that kind of money for a neutral palette when I already have so many. That one just seems special though. 😊
I'm planning on cutting back this year too! I feel like at this point there isn't much I don't have so I need to slow down on purchasing so many new ones! I hear you on the Patrick Ta one! There's something about that one that I love so much but It can be hard to justifying spending so much on a neutral palette!
I love ND but I also skipped the ND Circo Loco, Xenon and mini Metropolis. I did purchase other ND( about 5 minis and 5 midis) and PM lab palettes. I just discovered these brands this year and I'm trying to catch up. I formerly exclusively used Lancome and MAC.
The other thing about the Hourglass shadows is that they were really small for the price. I was in Sephora browsing and I saw them and I was shocked at how tiny the pans were...like they were barely bigger than my thumbnail!
I got the mini metropolis and the metallics and shimmers worked well in mine. And I'm a snob about metallics and shimmers. This is my first palette from her though so not sure how it compares to her other ones.
I have the Colourpop x Kathleen Lights So Jaded Palette so I didn't get the mega jewel palette. but people who missed out on it could get a similar one but I want to support Kathleen as well, she is one of my favorite beauty youtubers.
I kind of spend the most money on unique neutral palettes. Like the biggest splurge recently was the Huda Rose Quartz, because its a neutral mauve palette but with really interesting shimmers and duochromes.
That Hourglass eyeshadow launch was ridiculous! I mean indie brands charge at the most, I’ve seen is around $17- $22 for a shadow. But that is for a multichrome which would be worth it. I wish Colourpop would slow down as well. I have a lot from them and I know the quality is good but it’s just too much. I’m glad I only bought a couple things from them this year. Lovely eyeshadow today 💕.

I skipped all of the same palettes as you, with the exception of the Melt Brunet palette. I would definitely recommend it, its great for every day but still feels lux and special. I can get a variety of looks that keep it interesting and worth the buy.
Wow, I literally never heard of that neutral palette from Melt. I feel the exact same way about everything in this video, including Colourpop. I did pick up a couple of small palettes during their holiday sale, but its just like overload at this point. Happy New Year to you and ur family. 🎉🎉💘💘
I wish that UD would keep the Naked line strong and maybe pull a card from Colourpop’s deck and make the Moon Dust shadows more affordable. They could be releasing capsule collections of some stunning, textured shadows to accompany the color stories that will maybe appeal more in palette form, but could use extra spice for those wanting to experiment.

What you said about colourpop, is exactly how I felt about makeup revolution. It used to be my favorite drugstore brand but I couldn't keep up with them so I got annoyed and stop following them and purchasing their products!
When the Natasha Denona midi Zendo palette was getting ready to launch, I had every intention of buying it. Then you and several others reviewed it and most said the same things you did. I also had high hopes for the Cyber palette, but even swatching it in store was a letdown.
I just got into pallets this year so I bought several to start my collection but as the year came to a close & I saw all the pallets on my wishlists, I noticed I had a lot of the same colors & watching videos, I could make a lot of looks with colors I already had in my collection. I'll always be sad I missed out on Tati beauty.
I was pleasantly surprised by that ABH Primrose Palette! I wasn’t planning on buying it but then I saw it in store when I was shopping for my birthday and 1) it looks even more beautiful in person but 2) every single shade swatches beautifully! The metallics are so intense but they do have quite a bit of fallout on the face if you don’t use them wet or with a glitter glue. However I’m willing to look past it and use a glitter glue because they look stunning on the eyes. The mattes are her typical powdery very pigmented formula but blend out very easily. The blush shades threw me off at first because you have a super light one and super dark one but I like to mix them and they are very pigmented but blend out easily on the cheeks. Anyways all that to say that palette took me by surprise and I’m so happy to own it 😍
I only purchased the Golden palette from Colourpop in 2021. I instead used my money on the ABH Norvina Vol 5 and the Natasha Denona Glam and Retro palette. I agree with some of these you mentioned that I too skipped out on.
Idk if the Dominique Cosmetics Transition palette came out this year but that did catch my eye. I passed on it then forgot about it. It did go on sale for Black Friday but by then I was over it.
I gave up on Melt when my Smoke Sessions palette started growing out of the pans on my vanity. 😂😭 Honestly, JCat and LA Girl are some of the best shadows out there and a fraction of the price. 💁
Oh my gosh I have heard that in other reviews too! 😭 That is seriously so crazy! I agree with you! 2021 was the year when I finally tried both of those brands and their shimmers are so good!
I feel like UD won't ever come back - there are so many brands (indie and mainstream) that do color well, where as they were the only game in town back in their heydey.
I am glad did not buy the black smokey palette because still have my colourpop smoke show. I have only used it twice so this was been deal breaker for me. I did buy the Natasha Denona Circo loco and Iove it.
On your jcat pallets are they more pallet size only asking I ordered one got it yesterday it is smaller than the size of my hand it is very pretty and plenty for me just thought it would be larger hope baby doing well

I pretty much only picked up ND palettes in 2021. I am so happy that I picked up Circo Loco. I couldn't have imagined spending that much money for makeup before ... but I couldn't pass it up! I wish I could have gotten my hands on Club Nebula. I'm so glad I skipped over all the colourpop. They release WAY too much!!!
I almost bought the ND circo loco palette. They had some decent bundle sales for black Friday. I just couldn't. I'm all paletted out. I did buy the mini metropolis though. The color in the middle is green and it's gorgeous. I didn't have a problem with the mini at all. But I'm breaking away from all palettes and I'm going back to buying singles. Indie brands have been killing it with eyeshadows
I was able to get the Melt Amor y Mariposa for 52.50 on sale and that palette is insanely beautiful. It’s only my second Melt palette and it wasn’t on my radar until I swatched it in store at Sephora.🤤
I’ve learned to do this when something appealing launches. I wait. I’ve saved so much money like that. I used to impulse buy for some launches and ended up wasting money cause I didn’t use it. I notice I value and use products more that I waited on and there was a sale. If I still want it months later, likely I use it.
I bought the fenty one - I just loved the colour story and told myself no again and again. I got it on sale in the end. It's not the easiest to work with, needs a bit of layering but it's not too bad. It's very similar to the too faced born this way nudes but lighter in tone. I think it's better for a fairer complexion. I'm light and the very first pink doesn't really show up but works as a good transition. It's not the worst, but my favourites have definately become Natasha Denona and Anastasia
I dont regret buying my Primrose palette it's beautiful and works very well. But I do agree those 2 blushes didn't need to be there 4 more eyeshadows in it's place would've been great. But either way still a really good buy.
I absolutely loved the melt cosmetics palette. The reviews were terrible, it's neutral/taupe with this undertone that suits my olive skin.i love grungy makeup and this fit that hole in my collection. I also got it in sale. HOWEVER so glad I didn't get circoloco and went half price in UK but I've got so many colourful palettes. I glad this year I passed on many
Urban decay really has lost its luster. Its sad because I think they used to be the leaders of what was the latest trend and now it always feels like they are two cycles behind🤷🏾♀️
I skipped all palettes in 2021 and I am very happy about it! I am just enjoying what I already have. Nothing wrong with buying new palettes but the time spent with new ones is time taken away from my beloved old (or not so old) palettes.
I returned the Prince UD palettes. So horrible 😞. I have 3 ABH palettes: Rivera, Soft Glam, and Norvina. While I like the colors, I hate how powdery they are. So. Hard pass on the ABH face palette. It also looks dark.
I have been tempted by so many eyeshadow palettes in 2021, some of them you mentioned in your video. And precisely as you said, there are some brands that do not bring that wow factor, anymore, either because of the color story or too many releases. Another one that I keep going back to their website to see if there is anything new, creative, or versatile is TooFaced. But to my disappointment, I personally think their releases are just blah.
I spend the most on what I use the most. If it’s something I would use occasionally, it doesn’t warrant the investment. I used to be willing to spend on what I considered novelty items. When I ended up throwing them away mostly unused (because they’d gone bad), I realized that it didn’t work for me to collect that way.
In my opinion, the Hourglass single shadows belongs in the same bin as the Dyson hair tools (and vacuums and air purifiers tbh) and the Becca no-pigment foundation. Ridiculous cash scams.

I think that ND should send you PR and shocked that they don’t send you all their collections! I got Circo Loco for mothers day. I love, love, love it and use it alot.
The Vanity palette is everything. The quality of those shadows is amazing. I use mine all the time and I do think it was worth the $95

I decided to not buy palettes right away, to wait a lil over a month and if I’m still wanting ‘em then I get ‘em, but I’ve come to the realization that 90% of the time I’m over them and they basically look very similar to the palettes I already own. This help me save money lol
Yes it's so true! I really try not to impulse buy any longer because I tend to forget about new releases once the hype dies down. I need to implement your rule about similar palettes this year because I have too many at this point!

I ended up buying the Vanity Beauty palette when it was on sale during the holidays and it is absolutely beautiful. I’ve used every shade and it’s worth every penny. Blends like a dream!!
I’m with you on ColourPop needing to slow down. I work at Ulta and I feel like every week there is a new palette by them, and I hate to say it but the quality in some of them has been a little disappointing. I think that is because they are just pushing out way too much way too fast. Hope your New Year is starting off great and that 2022 is amazing for you 💜
There are so many repeat shadows in CP palettes that I lose interest quickly. I’m so tired of the same rusty oranges and browns, in all palettes. I learned this year that what trips me up with palettes are the beautiful colors. So, I remind myself that although a palette has some stunning colors, I don’t necessarily want to wear it as an eyeshadow. I am on the hunt for a “perfect” neutrals palette that I can wear every day. I have a light tan skin tone, so I need great pigmentation. What quiets the FOMO voices for me is waiting. It stops bad impulse purchases, and helps me realize that I don’t need/want it. I am at the point that all I want are smaller palettes or really beautiful, rich single colors to complement my eye color. I LOVE the content on your channel! You’re smart and beautiful and I value your opinion.
I'm glad I didn't buy the Patrick Ta palette because I just want to get use out of what I have. I may pick it up one day but I know I don't need it atm. Love seeing what you're glad you skipped over. I have the same hopes for colourpop & urban decay lol
The abh primrose palette is really good, I was excited that abh released a palette again. They are still some of my faves. I picked up the KKW palette when she had it for $12 and it’s pretty good. As for the mini metropolis I think the shimmers are good but I don’t love the undertone of the dark brown with that yellow matte in the palette

I've been on a no/low buy so I really have not picked up many palettes in the last couple of years. The only one that is really tempting me is the Patrick ta Major Dimensions palette. It just looks so stunning and I know I would use every shadow in it, but I have a hard time shelling out that kind of money for a neutral palette when I already have so many. That one just seems special though. 😊
I'm planning on cutting back this year too! I feel like at this point there isn't much I don't have so I need to slow down on purchasing so many new ones! I hear you on the Patrick Ta one! There's something about that one that I love so much but It can be hard to justifying spending so much on a neutral palette!

I love ND but I also skipped the ND Circo Loco, Xenon and mini Metropolis. I did purchase other ND( about 5 minis and 5 midis) and PM lab palettes. I just discovered these brands this year and I'm trying to catch up. I formerly exclusively used Lancome and MAC.
I love the look of jewel tone shades i just personally never wear them especially as shimmers. I stick more to pastels or neon pops
I want to incorporate neon shades this year! They are so much fun but I always feel intimated by them!
The other thing about the Hourglass shadows is that they were really small for the price. I was in Sephora browsing and I saw them and I was shocked at how tiny the pans were...like they were barely bigger than my thumbnail!
I got the mini metropolis and the metallics and shimmers worked well in mine. And I'm a snob about metallics and shimmers. This is my first palette from her though so not sure how it compares to her other ones.

I have the Colourpop x Kathleen Lights So Jaded Palette so I didn't get the mega jewel palette. but people who missed out on it could get a similar one but I want to support Kathleen as well, she is one of my favorite beauty youtubers.

I kind of spend the most money on unique neutral palettes. Like the biggest splurge recently was the Huda Rose Quartz, because its a neutral mauve palette but with really interesting shimmers and duochromes.
That Hourglass eyeshadow launch was ridiculous! I mean indie brands charge at the most, I’ve seen is around $17- $22 for a shadow. But that is for a multichrome which would be worth it. I wish Colourpop would slow down as well. I have a lot from them and I know the quality is good but it’s just too much. I’m glad I only bought a couple things from them this year. Lovely eyeshadow today 💕.
Thank you for this video! I really appreciate your reviews and perspective. You ask a really good question about my approach and I try for a balance of both unique and everyday use. I skipped all of the same palettes as you, with the exception of the Melt Brunet palette. I would definitely recommend it, its great for every day but still feels lux and special. I can get a variety of looks that keep it interesting and worth the buy.
Wow, I literally never heard of that neutral palette from Melt. I feel the exact same way about everything in this video, including Colourpop. I did pick up a couple of small palettes during their holiday sale, but its just like overload at this point. Happy New Year to you and ur family. 🎉🎉💘💘
I wish that UD would keep the Naked line strong and maybe pull a card from Colourpop’s deck and make the Moon Dust shadows more affordable. They could be releasing capsule collections of some stunning, textured shadows to accompany the color stories that will maybe appeal more in palette form, but could use extra spice for those wanting to experiment.
I would have to say the Prince palette is one that I was so so disappointed in it had nothing Prince about it in my opinion. Love ya Andrea. God Bless

What you said about colourpop, is exactly how I felt about makeup revolution. It used to be my favorite drugstore brand but I couldn't keep up with them so I got annoyed and stop following them and purchasing their products!
When the Natasha Denona midi Zendo palette was getting ready to launch, I had every intention of buying it. Then you and several others reviewed it and most said the same things you did. I also had high hopes for the Cyber palette, but even swatching it in store was a letdown.

I just got into pallets this year so I bought several to start my collection but as the year came to a close & I saw all the pallets on my wishlists, I noticed I had a lot of the same colors & watching videos, I could make a lot of looks with colors I already had in my collection.
I'll always be sad I missed out on Tati beauty.
I was pleasantly surprised by that ABH Primrose Palette! I wasn’t planning on buying it but then I saw it in store when I was shopping for my birthday and 1) it looks even more beautiful in person but 2) every single shade swatches beautifully! The metallics are so intense but they do have quite a bit of fallout on the face if you don’t use them wet or with a glitter glue. However I’m willing to look past it and use a glitter glue because they look stunning on the eyes. The mattes are her typical powdery very pigmented formula but blend out very easily. The blush shades threw me off at first because you have a super light one and super dark one but I like to mix them and they are very pigmented but blend out easily on the cheeks. Anyways all that to say that palette took me by surprise and I’m so happy to own it 😍

I only purchased the Golden palette from Colourpop in 2021. I instead used my money on the ABH Norvina Vol 5 and the Natasha Denona Glam and Retro palette. I agree with some of these you mentioned that I too skipped out on.
Idk if the Dominique Cosmetics Transition palette came out this year but that did catch my eye. I passed on it then forgot about it. It did go on sale for Black Friday but by then I was over it.
I gave up on Melt when my Smoke Sessions palette started growing out of the pans on my vanity. 😂😭 Honestly, JCat and LA Girl are some of the best shadows out there and a fraction of the price. 💁

I am glad did not buy the black smokey palette because still have my colourpop smoke show. I have only used it twice so this was been deal breaker for me. I did buy the Natasha Denona Circo loco and Iove it.
I was successful at talking myself out of quite a few palettes at the end of the year and I don’t regret them.
On your jcat pallets are they more pallet size only asking I ordered one got it yesterday it is smaller than the size of my hand it is very pretty and plenty for me just thought it would be larger hope baby doing well

I pretty much only picked up ND palettes in 2021. I am so happy that I picked up Circo Loco. I couldn't have imagined spending that much money for makeup before ... but I couldn't pass it up! I wish I could have gotten my hands on Club Nebula. I'm so glad I skipped over all the colourpop. They release WAY too much!!!
I almost bought the ND circo loco palette. They had some decent bundle sales for black Friday. I just couldn't. I'm all paletted out. I did buy the mini metropolis though. The color in the middle is green and it's gorgeous. I didn't have a problem with the mini at all. But I'm breaking away from all palettes and I'm going back to buying singles. Indie brands have been killing it with eyeshadows

I was able to get the Melt Amor y Mariposa for 52.50 on sale and that palette is insanely beautiful. It’s only my second Melt palette and it wasn’t on my radar until I swatched it in store at Sephora.🤤
I’ve learned to do this when something appealing launches. I wait. I’ve saved so much money like that. I used to impulse buy for some launches and ended up wasting money cause I didn’t use it. I notice I value and use products more that I waited on and there was a sale. If I still want it months later, likely I use it.
I bought the fenty one - I just loved the colour story and told myself no again and again. I got it on sale in the end. It's not the easiest to work with, needs a bit of layering but it's not too bad. It's very similar to the too faced born this way nudes but lighter in tone. I think it's better for a fairer complexion. I'm light and the very first pink doesn't really show up but works as a good transition. It's not the worst, but my favourites have definately become Natasha Denona and Anastasia

I dont regret buying my Primrose palette it's beautiful and works very well. But I do agree those 2 blushes didn't need to be there 4 more eyeshadows in it's place would've been great. But either way still a really good buy.

I absolutely loved the melt cosmetics palette. The reviews were terrible, it's neutral/taupe with this undertone that suits my olive skin.i love grungy makeup and this fit that hole in my collection. I also got it in sale. HOWEVER so glad I didn't get circoloco and went half price in UK but I've got so many colourful palettes. I glad this year I passed on many

Urban decay really has lost its luster. Its sad because I think they used to be the leaders of what was the latest trend and now it always feels like they are two cycles behind🤷🏾♀️

I was excited about nothing this year except nd biba, sunset, trichrome and circo loco which all of them I got 50 percent of on Friday sale.
I skipped all palettes in 2021 and I am very happy about it! I am just enjoying what I already have. Nothing wrong with buying new palettes but the time spent with new ones is time taken away from my beloved old (or not so old) palettes.
I returned the Prince UD palettes. So horrible 😞. I have 3 ABH palettes: Rivera, Soft Glam, and Norvina. While I like the colors, I hate how powdery they are. So. Hard pass on the ABH face palette. It also looks dark.
I have been tempted by so many eyeshadow palettes in 2021, some of them you mentioned in your video. And precisely as you said, there are some brands that do not bring that wow factor, anymore, either because of the color story or too many releases. Another one that I keep going back to their website to see if there is anything new, creative, or versatile is TooFaced. But to my disappointment, I personally think their releases are just blah.
I spend the most on what I use the most. If it’s something I would use occasionally, it doesn’t warrant the investment. I used to be willing to spend on what I considered novelty items. When I ended up throwing them away mostly unused (because they’d gone bad), I realized that it didn’t work for me to collect that way.
I regret the Fenty purchase. It doesn't preform well at all.❌⭕

In my opinion, the Hourglass single shadows belongs in the same bin as the Dyson hair tools (and vacuums and air purifiers tbh) and the Becca no-pigment foundation. Ridiculous cash scams.
I agree with all of this except the Dyson vacuums. I’ve had mine for 14 years and it works amazing! Needed 1 repair for about $25.
The kkw palette is amazing and the camo palette is even better
