These last 5 years have been a tough ass stretch for us and 8-4 feels even better than I thought it would. We finished 8-4 in '18 and that felt like the biggest let down ever (bc it was) but this team has shown some grit and for once I actually feel good as a Mountaineer fan. Good thing too bc basketball is literally in a nose dive right now . . Whoofta
Ok here's the thing, NB will obviously be back next season. We have 16 of 22 starters coming back, not even factoring Lathan and Trotter in the equation. 8-9 wins is a solid season, but with what we have returning, it's B12 championship or bust. First 4 years were pretty rough, now let's see how he does with pressure to win big. Garrett Greene can have a really special season, Traylon Ray will be the best WR1 we've had in a long time and Jahiem White is clearly our best back and starter! The big question is the defense...again. Either Lesley needs to go, or we need a scheme change. Special Teams needs addressed asap..
