😂🤣😂. I still have a whole house to decorate. I put up 6 trees and I still have to help my kids with their villages. I’m still no where close to done.

Looks amazing Miriam...which is no surprise. You sure know how to put a vision together,which I struggle with. My village still needs some fine tuning. I usually put up 4 trees in my home as well, about 1 week before Thanksgiving. I just can't seem to find the time. I'm just in awe everytime I see something you have created.
Aw, thanks so very much. This season has been tough for me too trying to balance life, villaging, and decorating. 😂🤣. I am usually mostly done with decorating and my village by thanksgiving. I still have so much to do. Whatever the pace though, I just keep plugging until it’s done. 😂🤣
could you please make a tutorial about the sidewalks you made. I finaly got on a small amount of xps foam. If you have time of course, I know you're busy right now. It looks sublime! My village is up for 2 months now and it's about 12 m2.

LOVE all the colors. Some parts of here in Texas we have holidays this colorful too. So glad to see temperate climates represented! Also, i appreciate the attention to detail where you painted the bases of the accessories to match the setting the figure was sitting on.

Miriam, this is so beautiful! I love the detail, I made sidewalks and curbs for my village as well. I got the idea from Halloween villages by Carl. You are a superstar and I can't wait to see your entire village. I love, love, love this set up and the way you connected the neighborhood and the park is brilliant!! I make them out of xpf foam. I do have a video on how to make them for members.

Hi Miriam, it is absolutely gorgeous! I want to “grow up” to be a great villager like you! 😊 I would love to do a neighborhood but all my buildings are “businesses”, or a church or fire station. Did you get all your “houses” from Lemax or Department 56. I would love to find houses that look nice but not quite as expensive as the Lemax or Department 56. I love Lemax and Department 56 buildings and I have some but wonder if you know if good “off brand” options for houses.
Thank you so very much Tammy. Three of my houses are from Dept 56, and then the others two in this display are the O’Wells brand. Have you tried to offer up or Facebook market place? I bought all three of the dept 56 buildings used and they were very affordable.

Hello Miriam, how can I glue Buffalo Fluffy Snow to the sides of my snow village styrofoam base? Also, do you use hot glue gun to glue the people and street lights also roads and sidewalks to the styrofoam base? Thanks a lot and I wish you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving.
Yes, I hot glue the buffalo snow to the styrofoam base and I also use hot glue on my figurines and street lights. Happy thanksgiving to you as well.

What type of grass is that
Hey Michelle, that is artificial turf for a putting green. I saved the extra turf from when my husband and I installed our putting green in our backyard. You can buy these samples from amazon. They come in 12" squares.

Hi I was wondering if you could tell me where you get such large foam blocks to carve? I can only find one seller on Amazon that had that size an man they r expensive. The rest of the sellers are small or thin blocks/sheets 🧐
Hello, I buy the insulation foam boards from lowes. Then I glue several pieces together. The foam boards are sold in 4’x8’ sheets. I attached a link for you below.

Where did you get the grass . I been looking for a grass and I can’t find any that I like
The grass I used for the yards is actually old putting green turf. My husband and I put in a putting green in our backyard a few years ago and I saved the extra. If you look up artificial turf samples on Amazon, you can buy them from there.
The grass in the median is a moss mat from Walmart.
When planning your neighborhood, how much space to you allow for each house, width of your sidewalk and road?
Hey Donna, great questions. My sidewalks are 2” wide and my road is 2 1/2” in this neighborhood. The rest of my roads in this village are 4”. I allow about 10-12 inches in width and about 12 inches in length.
