I’m gonna make a separate comment about thoughts on that “top secret trip” next week, but for now and since she didn’t plug her UA-cam stuff, Lucah for her main channel is in between major projects and will be doing some small quicker games, but if you want some more content in the meantime, she’s been regularly updating her stream archives channel with her older streams. Recently she just got through the entirety of her first model (the one made by Buff Pup) and has begun uploading her first Horse Mom proper streams
Can we have Lucah on as a more regular guest? I think she meshes with the rest of the group really well.

1:07:42 I normally still wear underwear under pajama pants, but I honestly find it really annoying how difficult bordering on impossible it is to find men's pajama pants (or even underwear) without a fly in front. I will literally NEVER use it to pee through, because I would much rather just slide them down when I need to pee instead of trying to snake my bits through the front of my clothes. So the fly just ends up as an unnecessary way to potentially expose myself and/or a non-smooth surface to rub against. It's not THAT big of a deal, but you've got to love it when the clothing industry insists it knows what you want better than you do.
Last time my men's pajama pants that I had been using for years ripped open and had to be replaced, I ended up just buying women's ones and never looking back. No unnecessary fly, and they're made of stretchier material which hopefully won't rip open again as easily, either.
@@Nejove You might try something unisex too. I had a Paper Mario TTYD themed pajama (until the elastic in the pants wore out), no fly in the front, though the pajama pants were a bit like sweatpants with the strings for tightening, just not as thick as sweatpants.

Regarding that “Top Secret Trip” and what it could mean, some people are speculating that this could mean TRG is returning soon given Jon’s choice of words three Thursdays ago to a now banned viewer (“See you when TRG returns”). Personally, I’m hoping that if it’s anything TRG related it’s just another casual trip down to Georgia just like when the pandemic was declared as “over” and Jon just hung out with a couple of his friends not worrying about making content or anything. I’m gonna be real and likely ripped to shreds over saying this publicly given how excited a lot of people are over the prospect of the opposite happening: at this point in time I don’t want TRG to return. I don’t feel like they’re ready for it, and it’s for two reasons.
The first reason is Emile’s fans. I’ve not been shy over my criticism of their behavior, specifically the more fanatical ones, since his return, how they haven’t learned the lessons from earlier this year or took the wrong things away or say that Emile did nothing wrong despite his saying otherwise, but what happened three Thursdays was not an isolated incident. During Colosseum this year, numerous viewers were slandering Jon and the Thrown Controllers crew for “abandoning Emile”. People didn’t take notice because the chat is never included in the Colosseum uploads here and also Jon’s moderators had been on the top of their game in making sure that such comments/viewers got removed so that everyone else watching can have a good time. Since Emile’s return to YT, I’ve also been told by someone who watched all of the new uploads to present that there have been a number of Emile’s fans who have been villainizing Jon for his stance on Emile’s past behavior and have been vocal about it in Emile’s comments and replies whenever someone brings Jon up, usually in response to people talking about TRG’s return and what Jon and Emile may or may not have said.
If TRG does return, you can bet that attitude’s going to follow and get even worse as Jon proceeds to win time and again in competitive projects as it’s going to be more than just “Jon always wins”, it’s going to be “Jon should leave. He’s not a bro to Emile like Tim” and the like. Unless TRG is going to be moderated, I fear for how much of a landfill the TRG comments and community will become (it was already pretty bad before in hindsight), and I guarantee you that unless Emile is no longer the one running the channel (now is not the time to bring up the Tom or especially Masae being the co-owners joke, this coming from the one person who wouldn’t let that die for the longest time), TRG will remain unmoderated because Emile’s own channel is STILL unmoderated which has in part led to the fans’ current behavior. This is evidenced on how Emile handled harassment of any of those who spoke out against him: he didn’t. He washed his hands of responsibility by asking them at two points not to go after or asking those who spoke out against him, and even disregarding people who didn’t get the memo (I don’t understand why Emile didn’t include his final statement in his Community tab), Astral Alchemist and the I Stand With Chuggaaconroy movement while on the surface supporting Emile’s request have been behind the scenes encouraging going after said people who’ve spoken out (and wouldn’t you know it, Muskrat helped sweep all evidence under the rug by hiding likes that aren’t your own, so if anyone has the knowhow on how to reveal such things and doesn’t want to just take my word for this, the username is Letsely Plays). Emile’s remaining fans may act like or legitimately believe that nothing’s changed (and this is due in part to the example Emile has set up whether he knows it or not, more on that later) and things are all roses, but anyone taking a step back can see that things were never going to be the same again after the first half of this year no matter how you slice it.
And that all leads me to my second reason. As evidenced by my critiques of Emile’s lack of moderation and responsibility over his fan base (which seriously needs to happen yesterday, especially with such a big following as he has even after what transpired in the first half of 2024), I as an outsider don’t believe Emile’s a changed man, or rather, I don’t have reason to believe Emile’s a changed man for the better at this point in his rehabilitation/therapy. After all, fan bases tend to take after who they follow, and from the same friend who has been keeping up with Emile’s content since his return as I’ve not seen any of it for myself as a reminder/self-inflicted punishment of my own failures in regards to the drama surrounding Emile earlier in the year, overall Emile apart from having some rust in the research department (which fans seem to ignore and think that he’s somehow better than ever, but whatever) behaves the same as he did before, and that’s both good and bad. Good because he’s back to his upbeat pun cracking generally informative awkward self which people got drawn to and stuck around for. Bad because he’s not only still cracking explicit jokes (granted Future Connected and Xenoblade in general makes it too easy at times but even then) considering those kinds of jokes/comments made various viewers uncomfortable (I doubt they are around anymore if they were previously regulars of Emile as I was as I’ve been informed that his commenters haven’t made mention of them publicly) are what contributed to various bridges getting irreparably burned between him and various former friends and acquaintances in the past but also he’s still been displaying what’s been my biggest critique of him as a Let’s Player and a person, an unwillingness to learn from his mistakes if he sees them as minor enough, both in his gameplay and in his behavior.
We know that Emile has been going to therapy for a while now, well before this year, thanks to his bringing it up during TRG. We (including many of his close friends evidently) just didn’t know what it was for until Emile’s final statement coupled with Masae’s own. However, knowing now why he was going to therapy and looking back at how Emile behaved in those TRG videos since it was known he was going to therapy, he really wasn’t any different back then, and it’s not like Chuggaaconroy back then (or perhaps even now. Maybe he’s trying this as part of his therapy) is some character for a bit/series that can be separated from who they are in real life like the Nerd and James Rolfe or Linkara and Lewis. Chuggaaconroy IS Emile, so if Chuggaaconroy isn’t showing signs of change, Emile hasn’t been either.
I know that change takes time, a lot of time, to happen. I’m not saying that Emile is incapable of it. I want to believe he can get better. And it’s for those reasons I feel frustrated that I’m feeling less guilty/more justified in my self-exile from Emile’s content. I’m not asking for updates from anyone about Emile’s progress. That’s for Emile to decide who he wants to share such things with. But if he seriously desires to become a better person, and I have no reason to believe contrary since he’s acknowledged that he’s done wrong and hurt people and has expressed regret/remorse, then he should at least put in the effort to reflect that much publicly and beyond written statements, and his errant fans hopefully will either understand and follow suit or oust themselves as being terrible people and get weeded out. If things are going to be staying the same course as they were before the start of the year and at this point there’s no reason for me to believe otherwise, history’s going to repeat itself, in this case for significantly worse.
I get getting upset at the rabid fans of Emile, they were disgusting with a lot of what they said with the racist and transphobic comments made, but lets not act like Masae and her audience are innocent either. You say that Emile didn't do enough to stop his audience, even though he stated multiple times that people should stop, but you never mention that Masae and her audience were guilty of harassing emile and she did barely anything to stop it. She said that she "just wanted to be left alone" but went in unnecessarily long detail about their relationship, only to omit the part where they were dating which changed the context of so many things. People thought that emile was doing one sided flirting when it was flirting between a private couple, and people thought that emile was harassing masae from that. This led to people, including you with you comparing emile to his then known deadbeat now abusive dad and only backtracking it in the replys in one of jon's uploads and not taking it back publicly, to harass emile, and masae did nothing to stop it. She only said that she doesn't condone harassement after she was called out and at no point prior to it, shouldn't she also get some flack for that?. Where is all of the comments and messages calling out masae for doing the exact same thing and doing even less to stop it? It's even worse since Masae has lied about their relationship, she said that she never put up barriers to emile and that he never respects them. Yet she put up the barrier of not telling people that they were engaged and emile respected that for years. He only talked about it when masae was lying. She also has never publicly apologized to emile even though that was another point that she critiqued him for. We have proof that masae is willing to lie and have double standards for emile yet no one outside of jon's or the general TRG community is willing to call her out on this.
You say that fanbases take after who they follow, if that's the case, then masae and her fandom is filled with people who are willing to lie about relationships and ruin people's lives with no evidence, since that's another thing: masae has no evidence/specific examples to back up her claims. She makes vague accusations that could mean anything, one that's false and one that's hypocritical, and everyone still thinks that she's somewhat of a victim when she isn't a reliable narrator and has nothing to back it up with. Hell, you are proof of that since you make claims like "Emile is still making the same jokes that caused people to burn bridges with him and he's still a horrible person based off of the word of a friend of mine with no proof or any insight into my own experience since I choose to distance myself from his content". You also say that everything in his videos is proof that he hasn't changed even though everything we've shown was about being private so we don't know if he's changed, yet you're willing to say he hasn't because he makes the same content as before because he makes explicit jokes. You do know your commenting on a podcast with Lucahjin, right? She is way more explicit in her sexual jokes than emile so wouldn't people be offput by her too? Here's a link to Emile saying that he has had a lot of collab offers so he hasn't burned all bridges. If you don't want to watch his content, that's perfectly acceptable and valid, but don't act like this high moral authority when you ignore the other sides' faults. I am not condoning any of the harassement that Masae and the others got, but lets be real, Emile also was a victim of harassement from others, including you and others in this community, so lets' not act like people in this community are innocent either.

I want to say I respect your opinions on this matter. I'm willing to accept that everyone in "TRG" are still friends with Emile despite everything, and are simply distancing themselves from him professionally. And I also am in the "self-isolating" camp from Emile's content. I can't even watch old TRG content anymore now. Something feels sour in my mind.
That being said, I would love for "Thrown Controllers" to carry over the spirit of TRG, friends getting together to play games together. I would love to see Jon and Reese play a game with the Raleigh collective. Maybe invite Josh Jepson as well. Maybe we wouldn't have to see "Jon wins" as much if we vary up the cast and players.
The one thing I would pull up on, you said Emile still cracks explicit jokes in his recent series. I'm genuinely curious what jokes are ok and not (not trolling, genuinely curious). And plenty other people make explicit jokes too, Tyler, Jules, Lucah. So I'm genuinely curious which brand of jokes are uncomfortable and which aren't.
(Trust me I know there's definitely outdated words or jokes in older TRG but even nee videos still have NSFW jokes)
@@dylanshadowstar9779 It’s less about the brand of jokes and more about who it is making them and who they’re directed at. The three people you named, Reese, Jules, and Tyler have a lengthy history, a reputation for that, where it’s part of their identity when streaming/let’s playing/interacting on socials, but they at least know when to dial it back and when it’s not appropriate. Emile for a good while wasn’t making those kinds of those jokes or if he was it was basic gutter humor like 69. It wasn’t until the Lost Innocence when he, the guy known for puns and being knowledgeable and having insane luck, really started leaning in on that. Part of what got Emile in deep trouble was his lack of social awareness due to his higher functioning autism and not having a dial/filter when it comes to that sort of thing. The point is you’d think that because that’s what got him into trouble that he’d curb those kinds of jokes entirely as he tries to figure out what’s OK and what’s crossing the line, but he’s made no visible effort in curbing that at all.
@@Rexaura888 The problem with your logic is that what emile does is tamer than what those listed regularly and their are problems with the four main victims that contradict that:
Lady Emily: She actively consented to the roleplay mulitple times, instigated it unprompted, and even encouraged Emile to do worse yet claiming in her allegations that he became worse and it had nothing to do with her.
Masae: We don't know anything about what he said to her so it's impossible to make judgements about that since masae refuses to go into specifics
Antdude/Fushi: the "sexting" only amounted to massive assumptions on their ends like thinking that because he sent a message to Fushi instead of Antdude that emile was trying to get with Fushi, even though Antdude didn't respond to his messages for days.
Lawly: Emile actively asked her if it was ok for her to engage in the roleplay as adults, showing that he does have some restraints and actively asked for permission before doing it again.
The last part shows that emile has improved in getting permission. Plus the whole "visible effort" thing doesn't make sense since all of this was private in the first place and only became public due to Lady Emily wanting to ruin emile.
